Do you think they will go clock wise or anti clockwise…
I’m gonna say anti.

Counter. They're not going to go past the currently-the-away-end first.

I still won't be staying. I've given them support all season at games and they ended up in a relegation battle for reasons only known to themselves. They got more than enough points and performances against the supposed better sides in this division to prove they are better than many say they are. Too many of them have tossed it off when they shouldn't have and of course, numerous coaches have made as many mistakes as they have good decisions that together have cost us both in performances and points at key stages of the season. I don't agree with booing and never have really. Just a polite exit from the stadium for me and a nice "Have a good summer and see you next year where hopefully we'll finish in the top half at the 7th time of asking". I think the club need sending a very stark but respectful message that this season has been nowhere near good enough and a quiet, empty stadium is a very powerful message to send. Each to their own though. This is exactly where I’m at in regards this end of season stuff I’ll tell you what pisses me off and tbh it always has ( not just Stoke ) is why can’t they just do it on the FT whistle instead of all that going in for 10 minutes to get their kids and wives….i don’t want to see 2 year old Jake score a goal with one yard kicks whilst every fucker cheers it I’m no miserable fucker but do it straight away or not at all I think it is something to do with the stewards getting the away fans out of the ground first. I remember the Wigan match when they escaped relegation by winning their last match at Stoke. The Wigan team spent so long on the pitch celebrating with their fans that we must have had to wait 30 minutes. Their celebration were bordering on rude. As I remember occasionally their fans were going quiet and starting to move away when the players started waving their arms and starting the celebrations again I remember being so cross at their behaviour that day. On a side note I used to love seeing the kids like the Delaps, Shawcross's and Sidibes running about. To think of Liam, Finn, Sol and the other Sidibe on the pitch as little kids is amazing.

Last season, they didn’t go back in, just congregated by the dugouts and then did a lap to a very empty stadium, looked embarrassed to be doing it after such an atrocious end to the season. There was barely any engagement with fans, could tell players just wanted it over with as well

When I was a youth in a jumper, I can recall the last game of the season always involved a pitch invasion, no matter what kind of season we had had. Grimsby at home in the 90 relegation season sticks in the mind, although this may have been fuelled by a bit of revenge in the air after the game at their place. I may be wrong but I remember running on after the Luton game in 94 at the end of Joe Jordan's first season. Utterly fucking pointless when I think about it! Each to their own with this I think. I can see why those with kids might want to stick around but bearing in mind how this season has been, I'll be on the way back to the Kingsway/Glebe at the final whistle! Maybe the kids want to . My younger brother always did No one is stopping folk from leaving as it isn't hurting anyone

It's been a awful season but I'm so pleased we ended the season with such positivity which, hopefully, we can carry into next season.

I thought the club got it just right. Straight round with no messing about, a quick lap of appreciation for the support without celebrating our lowly finish, which was reciprocated by the many thousands that stayed behind.
