re: Glenn Whelan, spoke articulately today on Radio Stoke, referred to Stoke as “we” and obvs knew all strengths & weaknesses of players plus recent performances. Wonder if SJW can carve him a spot on the back room team, imagine Whelan accepting anything less than 100% ?

Surely we’re just delaying the inevitable to next season? Have to be favourites for relegation if we stay up. Well, if we stay up and then do get relegated next season then that will see a lot of people finally lose patience. If this season isn't a warning to be taken seriously, then the whole club wants fucking off. Surely, Covid season was the warning? This is just the lower end of what should generally be expected from the club nowadays based on what we’ve seen since relegation. Next season, I expect us to do better as long as Junior, Burger, Bae and Million are all still here. They will become top players in this league (at least).

Good point today, but think we need to beat Plymouth now!

I’m sick of this bollocks positive discrimination sentiment.

Whelan trouncing Laurent on P and G. Good on him. Whelan has always had that "problem" of telling the truth, no matter how uncomfortable it may be at the time. Glen has two tons of gold bars in the bank for me - I remember all the tackles, the effort and the attitude, usually while he was being slated on here. Say what you will, but we never replaced him. And then there was that whole weird/wonderful "Sexual Glen Whelan phenomenon. If you can't love that ... Sexual Whelan is the only thing positive about the past 6 seasons 😁

Results have yet again gone against us but that was a vital point.

Wednesday should have been out of site at half time. I don’t think we will beat Plymouth,I hope I am wrong. This Stoke side is so bad it’s untrue. I am hoping goal difference might see us home. What happens next season if we stay up? Do we keep SS, do we look elsewhere? I just can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel, Barry Fukin Bannon run the show today against an inept midfield, what do you think Mr. Coates? You put the money up.

Results have yet again gone against us but that was a vital point. Neither Weds or Hudders won which was the main thing. Another game down and they need to pick up 6 points each out of 9 realistically to have any chance at all of catching us

I have been around long enough to see some shit Stoke sides, you may well have yourself. This side is up there, a total bag of shit. No leaders, poor footballers, panic buys, rudderless, the list goes on.

Beating Plymouth is important, but Bristol don't have much to play for and Southampton wont risk injuries against us because of the play offs.

Unless you don't think that's possible?

Last time I looked West Brom were way above Plymouth which was my point The fact that Pymouth are a point or so ahead of us doesn't make them a great side either

Wednesday scored today with a Stoke centre half and a full back looking at Iverson when they were trying to block it. I will leave it at that, just an angry fan tonight.

Surely you can substantiate when criticising a former member of staff

Mate if you are my age and suspect you are by your username you can't be serious about us being as bad as you say. I suspect you are disappointed with a draw. But the Wednesday forum I've been one they are much much more. It was a tough game today with 28000 owls fans up for it. Don't you think that some credit is due? Barring the shitshow at Swansea we have done well away for a while.

We should have lost the game within 20 mins against a very poor side. That first 45 minutes was probably the worst since relegation, the second wasn’t a world better either. Of course SW will be more disappointed with a draw, they missed several chances, goal disallowed and hit the bar. If you were happy with that then wow.

Like most others, I was as nervous as hell before the game and I think everybody including the manager and players were feeling the same. We rode our luck at times, and we haven't had much of that lately, but we managed a point against one of our main rivals to avoid relegation. I'll take that point all day long and we'll see where we go from here. I'm still nervous but I think I'd expect relegation if we had lost. So, for me that was a great point. Goooaaarrrnnn Stoke!

You obviously don't watch many stoke games. Like most on here you must be very unhappy, expect local samaritans will be overwhelmed on last saturday of season if we don't get relegated.
