Iverson 5 -. At fault for the 2nd, couldn’t cope with the wind at times, when kicking Hoever 7 defended well, had a good run of games. McNally Rose 5 - can’t mark in our box and get done too often by the centre cirtle. Stevens 7 Look so much better with him Thompson 4 if he can play for Stoke; then so can most of the Boothen. Negative on the ball, slow and weak off it, and moans like a child. Laurent 5 at fault for both goals, looked jaded and didn’t impact the game Bae 8.5 MOTM Haks 6 offers more in the middle, could and probably should’ve had 2 today. Manhoef 7 can be great but can also be poor on the ball too. Mmaee 8 I’ve written him off before but the last 2 or 3 appearances have reassured that he has quality but can’t score.
Subs Burger 7 was he injured ? Did well. Vidigal 7 a better performance. Terrible penalty but good rebound. Shocking hair do. Campbell 6 is going to struggle find a better club than Stoke in the summer. Leris 6

Burger a 10 for me for just one instance in the 2nd half when he gave Rose a right rollicking for not being on his toes and making an interception - think it was when Thompson had to slide in and got a booking for it. That’s the type of leadership we’ve been missing and need a lot more of. Hopefully he hangs around next season and we can build a team round him.

Re your comment I've changed my mind. Anyone scoring him less than an 8 needs sectioning. We all know that when it comes to picking a decent striker you don't exactly have a glowing track record 😉 I like Mmaee and have probably been his biggest defender on here I just wish he’d shoot earlier though. So fucking frustrating. Another great result for Harold today the big bottling bastard 🤣🤣 Who’s Harold a new signing 😙

Feels strange to be fighting to stay up, when we are so few player away from fighting for promotion! Really? For me, there's only a handful of players in the squad that I'd consider to be decent footballers. The rest I'd gladly see the back of.

For me, there's only a handful of players in the squad that I'd consider to be decent footballers. The rest I'd gladly see the back of. From the players we have today we're only a new first 11 left back, a dominant central defender and a decent goalgetter from being there.

We were better than a decent WBA side who will probably be in the play offs:
Iverson 6 Hoever 8 Rose 7 McNally 6 Stevens 7 Thompson 6 Laurent 6 Junho 8 Haks 5 could have had a hat-trick Manhoef 8 Mmaee 7
Burger 8 Vidigal 7 Campbell 7 Leris 6

Iverson 6 Played ok Hoever 7 very good again, he has raised his game at the right time McNally 6 not quite 7, but close Rose 6 as above Stevens 7 nearly scored, the Gladiator had othewise a solid game too Thompson 6 nothing special, no mistakes either Laurent 6 quiet, but not bad. Bae 8 *MOTM good display, offensively and defensively Haks 7 got into good scoring positions and was threat. Manhoef 7 lively and dangerous Mmaee 7 led the line well.
Subs Burger 7 should start next game, good passes Vidigal 6 bad penalty but still managed to score Campbell 6 livelier than I thought, I don't think he gives a full 100% Leris 6 did okay defensively

Iversen - 7 (Haven't seen the replays could be lower)
Hoever - 7 Mcnally - - 7 Rose - 7.5 Stevens- 7.5 (easily could have been 10 with the positions he found) Thompson - 8 Laurent - 7.5 Maenoff - 7.5 Baee - 7.5 Hak - 6.5 Maee - 9 (If he had inside forwards who could score that would have been all time single striker performance.)

Iversen 6 - nothing to do apart from get the ball out the net. A bit slow off his line at times when the ball was there to be had
Hoever 8 - Defended well and all our best attacks predominantly came down the right especially second half
Rose 7 - Defended well and some excellent cross field balls
McNally 7 - Great bit of decision making second half with intercepting a ball with his head then mopping up nicely
Stevens 6 - Not at his best going forward
Thompson 6 - steady but drives me mad at left back when he constantly plays the ball backwards, tried some balls over the top but needed take some pace off on the 4 occasions tried
Laurent 6 - I was very impressed at the match but looking back he was rinsed for the second goal and ball watching for the first, other than that moved the ball well, covered lots of ground and some nice breaking up of play
Junho 7 - some lovely interchanges and can’t fault his work ethic, just some sloppy moments when being disposed in dangerous areas
Manhoef 8 - should have scored after Mmaee played him through. A threat all game and a goal. MOM
Mmaee 7 - caused their defence problems with his movement, touch, vision and strength. Some superb takes on his chest, some lovely through balls as well
Haks 6 - not bad just frustrating as he didn’t create much and had some decent chances to score. Rather frustrating and expecting more from someone of his quality
Leris 6 - always a willing runner and a threat in the air. Not good enough as an attacking outlet on the wing
Burger 7 - head and shoulders above everyone else in the middle of the park
Campbell 6 - Won the pen and constantly looking to get in behind. Really disappointed that some fans booed him when coming on
Vidigal 6 - absolutely shocking penalty, fortunate the rebound fell to him

Iverson 6 - I don't think he can be blamed for the second as he had to stop the cross. Hoever 6, I'll never trust him but has improved lately. McNally 6, OK Rose 6, OK Stevens 6, makes us much more solid on the left side. Thompson 6, steady but lacks any creativity. Laurent 5, why did he stop instead of getting between their player and the goal!? Bae 7, good game. Haks 5, never has any end product! Manhoef 8, troubled them the whole afternoon, MOM! Mmaee 6, does a lot of good things, but he doesn't score goals! Subs Burger 7, makes a difference! Vidigal 6, really shit penalty but luckily scored on the rebound! Campbell 6, thought he added something when he came on! Leris 6, he certainly gets stuck in! Re Thompson did you see who passed the ball to Campbell for the penalty. I think Thompson's passing is very underrated. He can't shoot though but that's true of all the team.

Iverson - 6 - didn't have much to do and couldn't blame him for either goal.
Hoever - 8 - class player who has been superb since the brain fart against Coventry.
Rose - 5 - gets turned far too easily.
McNally - 7 - good and solid.
Stevens - 6 - we're much better with a natural full back.
Thompson - 5 - just beige and slow in thought and action.
Laurent - 7 - I like him in the deep role, always wanting the ball and thought he was good today
Haks - 5 - flatters to deceive
Bae - 7 - (4 first half) shocking first half, superb second.
Mmaee - 7 - a really intelligent footballer, sees thing far quicker than others at times.
Million - 8 - MOM, first time in a while I'm genuinely excited when a Stoke player has the ball at his feet. This guy is will prove to be a great signing.

I think Thompson's passing is very underrated. He can't shoot though but that's true of all the team. I must say I'm far from impressed by Thompson's passing. Every player at this level will make a good pass now and then, but in my opinion Thompson takes too much time in controlling the ball and his passes usually go sideways or backwards. When playing the ball forward he rarely hits his target, and when it comes to his crosses into the box I really want to cry! I think he is a very limited player that is OK as back up, but he really shouldn't start many games for us. Think he has improved a bit this season though.
