First couple of months he looked like Martin Carruthers when he was through on goal. Now he looks more confident. Great. Most promising thing about his goal against Plymouth was that he hit it early. Our players always seem to take an extra touch before trying to pick their spot, which just gives defenders more chance to block it, and the keeper the time to set himself. Just twat it. That called sharpness, what makes the difference between a good finisher and a poor one. Let’s hope he keeps it up?

I liked his self assessment in his interview with Radio Stoke today, where he said he can get better and stop losing as many one on ones. I thought this was the main feature of his game on Saturday, other than his cracking goal. He lost the ball a lot of times and often resorted to giving a foul away in his attempts to get it back. That said, there is a good player in there and I have confidence he will get it right as he grows into the challenges of playing in this unforgiving league.

"He never got the better of their fullback except when he cut inside and scored a goal" 😆 🤣 Priceless 😆 I always thought shearer was poor! He only ever beat his man 30 times in a season!

Let’s not forget we could be safe I he’d scored his 3 (I think) 1v1. But I like him, I’m gonna bang the drum untill he moves but Adams with Manhoef and Dolan either side with Bae at 10 is very very tasty

He's looked very promising, always looking for the ball to run at defenders and create, plus showed some end product in recent weeks, but Have we ever seen a more one footed player in a Stoke shirt?

Looks the type to get around 8/10 goals a season,if we can get the same on the other wing plus 15/20 from our strikers, not forgetting goals from the rest of the squad too,it could push us up towards the top 6.

Etherington springs to mind? You can make it work but there'll be frustrating games where the defenders have him sorted.

Is it because no one notices when a right footed player can't kick with his left, because that is pretty normal? For what it's worth, I have never seen a more one footed player than Alan Hudson and he wasn't too bad.

I know he missed a sitter but what a player.
If he stays fit I can see him scoring 10+ next season. Great skills, works hard and I love that he’s not afraid of having a shot.
A great find.

I think he’s the most likely to be sold at good profit. We need him to break into double figures comfortably next season. The sell on will likely fund an entire season.

I’ve not written him off by any means and think he will get better next season after a full pre season with the club but I’ll just don’t see some off the reactions about how good he is at the min. He’s improved our squad but if I saw him playing for another team I wouldn’t be rushing to snap him up.

I've really liked watching him the last couple of games. He should have scored today but at least he's a threat, he had 3-4 shots on target. He also works hard for the team, defends really well

A very good player. Vital to the style we seem to want to play. Burger, Bae, Million and Junior all look like they enhance us and can fit the style of play we seem to want to develop. Ennis I’m not so sure. Cundle perhaps. If we can sort the centre of our defence we might be in a position to trouble the top 6 next season.

He was excellent today. The fact they switched walker peters to left back to stop him was credit to the threat he posed all day.

He’s a little gem of a player. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on next season. His reputation is growing amongst fans of other clubs who have also spotted his talent.

The lads got quality. We absolutely must build a strong defence then the likes of Bae, Million, Burger and hopefully striker can really flourish. I still believe Mmaee behind Campbell could be a strong partnership.
