Iversen 7 blunder for their goal at the near post Hoever 7 wasted a good opportunity Rose 8 looked solid McNally 8 cracking shot Wilmot 8 decent today Gooch 9 easy MOM Burger 7 silly booking Laurent 7 steady if unspectacular Baker 7 as above Junho 8 busy as always Campbell 7 did ok but I think his days are numbered
Manhoef 6 OK Leris 6 ok Ennis 6 missed a golden chance

Iverson 6 - Didn't have a lot to do Wilmot 6 - Past his best Rose 6 - Did ok ..... should have scored McNally 7 - In the right place Hoever 6 - Bit player, terrible first touch Gooch 8 - Played well throughout the match Baker 8 - Good performance but need him more around the box Laurent 6 - Nope, can't see it Burger 7 - If only he could receive the ball further up the pitch - we need a more 'defending' defensive midfielder Bae 7 - Will continue to improve - needs more gym time Campbell 5 - Good goal poacher but not a professional athlete Subs Manhoef 6 Ennis Leris 6 McNally was definitely in the wrong place for their goal though. Surprising hoe even a freak goal gives players, even defenders a better score. I still fail to see what he does to have so much backing on here. To me he's the worst of the three.

Wilmot past his best? He's 24 the same age as Mcnally

I'm not convinced it is over the top. He gets stick by a lot of fans for a reason. Being kind I think it's time for him to finally move on at the end of this summer, if I'm not being kind, I can't wait to see the back of him and for us to hopefully sign a couple of strikers/forwards worthy of the title. Whether it's warranted or not. I found it uncomfortable today as that kind of abuse is not going to make him play better when we really need him to. I agree with the majority of others in terms of his faults (there are plenty) but not about lack of effort. I think he tried his best today but he's just not good enough. He doesn't know how to hold a ball up or to make it hard for defenders. He seems to misread the flight of the ball regularly. It makes it look likes he doesn't want the ball when I think the truth is that he's just not capable. We are asking Campbell to play in a way he’s not suited for when he’s on his own up top and needs to hold up the ball, I agree. He’s good when he’s got space to run into and will be a decent player in a counter attacking side, but he just doesn’t work hard enough for me. In a counter attacking team the whole side works and then they break - Campbell doesn’t seem to buy into that. In a possession team he won’t / hasnt developed the side of his game to hold up the ball (he has the attributes). It’s a shame, he’s a gifted player. Might be best for all if he moves on, I think he will flourish eventually
