Before the Boro game I gave us about a 25% chance of staying up but I must admit the last 2 performances have given me renewed belief that we can do it.I thought the 2nd half tonight we took the game to Leeds and could have got a point in the end. Very encouraging and onto Preston Preston is absolutely massive. I think he has fallen on an 11 he can trust. Campbell tonight looked like an upgrade on Ennis but I just can't trust him to do that from the start and I have a suspicion he was treating it like an audition to Leeds.

There was togetherness and spirit tonight. Taking our best 3 players off was however insane. Burger had to come off, can't afford to lose him for 2 games. D'you know how many more games he has to survive to avoid the ban?

We’ve looked like a team these last two games…we need to be a settled 11 and we’ve looked like that…I understand we’ll get injuries and suspensions but it needs steady from now on in..I’m optimistic now🔴⚪️

Not good enough for Leeds in a million years

That was a tough watch in the Leeds end.
I thought we were very good tonight. Best we’ve played in a while.
Full backs weren’t great, thought Ennis was poor and the winger subs were at the wrong time.
Manhoef looked tricky. Definitely a player there.
Some decent football though. It looked like we had a good plan.
Just frustrating we are lacking someone to put it in the back of the net.
Same team for Saturday, albeit id probably swap out Ennis for Campbell.

No coincidence that 2 much better displays have followed since the manager ditched his silly inverted full back nonsense.
Extremely naive to start trying something like that in a relegation battle, but what's happened has happened and we just have to deal with the situation we're in. If we can play like this most weeks, we'll just about stay up.
Manhoef has made a difference as well. He's not a world beater, but he's much better than anything else we've got out wide.

Second half we played really well against a very good team. We deserved at least a point. However at this stage good performances without points are no use whatsoever. Laurent simply has to score at the death. Games are running out fast and we have a tough run in. We have to avoid defeat at Preston. Should never have come to this. Schumacher has been naive

Surely the teams at the bottom can’t keep this recent run of form up where they all seem to be picking points up?
Back to back wins/3 on trot is just something we don’t seem to be able to achieve and it’s hampered us for years.

Need points more than performances though. Happy to win in whatever way possible. Lack of goals will cost us in the end I fear.
