Interesting comment from Schumacher just🤔 Exactly what I thought. A right royal Freudian slip that one. He sounds like a naughty school boy who’s making excuses for bad behaviour. I don’t think he’s the stout character needed for our predicament.

Every time I hear him speak, I feel less confident in our survival hopes.
Please get him gone & at least give us a chance of survival.

I hope his trousers and pants fall down during his next televised interview and a passing seagull, mistaking his little willy for a prawn, pecks it. At last, a voice of reason.

Schumacher is completely out of his depth
A clueless appointment by a simpleton
If he has any self respect he would admit his ineptness and resign
Instead he is going to drag us down to League 1

That's the most frazzled I've heard him. Understandable, like with Nath, when you're not used to it. Career arc going straight up, then you run into the Stoke sludge.
Could kind of see what he was getting at. His left-back's defending and his right-back going walkabouts (although that's on him) gifted a pretty shit team the 3 points - after which we had all the play and chiselled away a collection of quarter and half-chances that may have got us a point 5 or 6 times out of 10. In XG terms, it was a bit of a battering (not that that means a thing in the circumstances)
There was effort, but not sure this lot could be moulded into a Pulis or Sam XI in a matter of weeks.
That back 4 are not material clean sheets are made of.

So yet again the managers the problem and not the way the club is run. FFP banished this season and yet again we struggle, it was a shit show under Neil and we were looking like dropping into a relegation battle and now we are there under Schumacher who now is getting all the flak and bile.
It’s all to predictable and I’ve got to the stage where I don’t frankly give a fuck because nothing but nothing will change until we are managed properly from the top and have a proper professional structure embedded into the club.

Interesting comment from Schumacher just🤔 A strange choice of phrase. However, we are in serious danger of relegation now and with 11 games left it is hard to see where the points will come from to save us.

Well he's right about one thing - we WON'T go down without a fight - daily in fact, amongst supporters on the Oatcake.
This is the only area where I see any evidence of passion.

His comments were delusional. If he really thinks we were the better team then god help us. There is no fight in this lot, that’s a big part of the problem We were the better team but we can't defend and our attack is toothless We seem afraid of shooting

He’s done, this job is too big for anyone with these players. Disaster If the job is too much for anyone with these players then getting rid of Schumacher wouldn’t solve the problem anyway. The defence was about the best we could put out today given the injuries, but it shows how much we’ve neglected the defence over the last few years. Starting the summer with one injury prone 33 year old LB, and only 3 CBs was reckless, not recognising this was still a major issue in January may be a big part of our downfall. There are problems at the other end of the pitch too, but you need to be scoring 3+ goals a game to make up for our defence.

Fuck knows. Maybe actually falling into the bottom three will give everyone a huge kick up the arse, but I won’t hold my breath. Next week could be properly nasty against Boro I expect. I always felt “safe” not being in the bottom 3 but now we’re in it, I don’t see us escaping. This ……. Being fourth from bottom was “ok”. But those results today have done for us

I am ambivalent as it’s not really his fault and who could honestly say that they wouldn’t take a position where even abject failure would still generate a massive golden handshake that would probably secure the family for the rest of their natural…..
Having seen some of the bizarre team selections and substitutions since the QPR game and heard what’s been said tonight I think hes lost the plot with this bunch and the likely extreme anxiety of the position he finds himself in makes his position almost untenable - he could of course turn it around but it looks increasingly unlikely.
If he goes now he has a bit of a plausible out and can at least say well they never let me finish the job and moreover Neil / Tricky holed us below the waterline before he arrived. If he stays and we do go down he’ll always be remembered as we remember Lambert….
