He is obviously not good enough in their view as he would be playing, so he should be loaned out at a lower level! It's always a mistake sending a player out for experience to a team that's already doing well. MK Dons are in the Top 5 of League Two. They don't need to be blooding youngsters. I actually think he would have been better off going to Wimbledon to fill the vacancy left by Al-Hamadi leaving for Ipswich. They play good football, and he may have got more time on the pitch there. This .. MK Dons like them or not are going for promotion , not languishing in mid table plodding along giving a kid a chance or facing relegation so desperate for anything to freshen them up ..which means they’re highly unlikely to take a risk or offer a ‘free place’ .. now he might benefit being around a successful and focused group in training , but game time is likely to be limited to late subs

as he’ll be doing what he really needs to do: i.e., learn how to deal with people who are bigger and stronger than him Just imagine telling that to Messi, Bojan, Xavi, Vini and other players categorized as small. Would that course have made them better players? Hardly.

The thing with Tezgal, he has basically been injured for 18 months ,on and off which will have slowed down his progression and similar to Lowe when you see them they look like teenagers physically, as a apposed to say an Evan Ferguson at Brighton who already has a man’s physique. Think Tezgal and Lowe will probably need a bit more time regarding there physical development.

It's possibly even harder for some young lads to play at a lower level than at championship standard. What it lacks in quality, it makes up for in physicality and aggression. He's only just 18 isn't he? Other than Simkin I can't remember the last time we had a really successful loan for one of our youngsters. Hopefully he can still make an impression there before the season is out. Matt Baker at Newport and David Okagbue at Walsall are doing ok and regular starters.

It was the right decision to loan him out.
Nathan Lowe should have been loaned out at the start of the season too.
Both should be out on loan next season.

Watched Okagbue when he came to Notts County with Walsall (who won 2-1), he was excellent.

Glad to hear about Okagbue because I think he had quite a tough start there, got subbed after 45 mins in his first game but seems to have now become a regular (he's played 14 games) so fought is way back in there it seems This is League 2 though a Division below MK Dons. Baker is a regular though he's 21 now, so might that be his level?

Player development is not linear, even less so when young lads are struggling for fitness or coming off the back of a major injury. I'm not worried about Tezgel at all yet.
He's gone to a side 5th in League 2, you can understand why they wouldn't be starting him or even putting him into games at this point when they have a fairly settled side already that's performing well.

Would that course have made them better players? Hardly. Well, each of them actually did learn how to deal with bigger players. That’s why they were successful. If they didn’t learn how to deal with them, they wouldn’t have been successful. Messi, Bojan and Xavi also did this by playing in Barcelona’s B team against grown men in a competitive league environment that is very different to U21s. Tezgel will never be any of those players. Each of them have skills far beyond the average player. Those skills also far outweigh other physical disadvantages. Tezgel is young. He should make it at this level (perhaps higher). However, if those three can slum it in the Spanish third tier, perhaps Tezgel learning his trade in a poorer division that gives him time isn’t a bad thing?

If all he needs to do is bulk up a bit, would it not have been better having him pumping iron in the gym instead of going out on loan? No player at that age simply needs to bulk up. It is as much about smartening up as strengthening up which is why they need to be playing with and against experienced pros. Didn't he have a long term I jury relating to stomach area recently. If so bulking up probably wasn't an option as he recovered from that. It's probably put him back 12 months in regards to developing his strength over the last 12 months.
