Went to Harrogate when they were non league run and managed by father and son unbelievable we could go there in a league game courtesy of Martin Jared & co. They, along with Barrow were both in the National League North when we were promoted in 2008. Staggering that we could end up playing one or both next season. Still, at least we'll have a free bus ride there though, hey? Better by car , tea at bettys to soothe the pain of inevitable defeat

Been to 18. albeit some of them the old ground. Hopefully Cheltenham will stay up so we can have a day out in a picturesque town, likewise Lincoln, Exeter and Cambridge. Port Vale is apparently nice at this time of the year. I presume it’s by the sea. Near Port Talbot I believe. And in a Valley. Sounds quite idyllic. Wembley of Wales by all accounts.

Fingers crossed they do because that’s going to mean the Vale will almost certainly finish in the bottom 4. Dropping into league 1 is unpalatable enough, but the thought of locking horns with them again is enough to finish me off. I'm just the opposite I hope they stay up simply so we get to play them. If we stay up I'm not arsed either way tbh Never really hated them, or particularly liked them..But it would be good to get to play em again..

With Stoke ..just Oxford to do I think ..been the old , potential of others depending who came up from league 2 ..barrow , Harrogate Mk dons , AfC Wimbledon , the last two I’ve been their previous grounds .. Happy to pick any of the above up with Stoke via friendlies , cups etc.. league it doesn’t bare thinking about ..but would clearly still go The new Oxford ground is an absolute shit hole in a horrible part of Oxford too. They are getting evicted in a couple of years or so, they are going to build a new one near to Kidlington

9 but 3 of them are the current top 3.
There was definitely a part of me that thought we'd never play at Wycombe or Northampton again but it's looking a distinct possibility. I think Oulare's first appearance was away at Northampton.

Who did we play in the FA Cup who were using the MK Don's ground? I remember an open away end, and it was freezing

I remember an open away end, and it was freezing Didn’t we play Wimbledon when they’d been moved to Milton Keynes but were still playing at the National Hockey Stadium and hadn’t had their name changed? Is that what you mean? Was bloody awful.

Then the next season we played them twice in Milton Keynes within the space of a couple of weeks in the league and FA Cup. I think it was the end of that season they officially became "MK Dons"

I was there too. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/3349237.stmI was pissed off with Leigertwood for years because I remember him playing in that game and then staying with MK Dons for 15 years after.

Dean Lewington is still playing for MK Dons this season, and is effectively the last link with the old Wimbledon club.

Of the current grounds I've seen Stoke play on 19 of them, plus the old Oxford ground.
I don't believe Stoke have ever played a competitive first team fixture at the current grounds of Oxford, Burton or Fleetwood.
The two I'm missing are:
Cheltenham (we've played there once in the League Cup in 2008)
Carlisle (we've played there twice, in 1974 and 1985). In fact for the last 30 plus years I've been wanting us to draw Carlisle away in one of the cup competitions and it's never happened. Sod's law if we do get relegated (and I don't think we will), then they will almost certainly get relegated as well so it ain't gonna happen!

Yep on reflection think I’ve got Fleetwood to do ..went the old place years ago with Stoke for a friendly , have to search for the year , but think that club folded and a new one set up first as Wanderers then later become Fleetwood town Carlisle did in 85 and more recently in the Checkatrade comp , thought I’d done Fleetwood in that comp , but on reflection that was probably Morecambe ..so likely new , unless I rock up and think .. I’ve been here before 🙂 use to keep precise records as done literally hundreds of grounds over the years with Stoke via league , cup , reserves , u21s and loads and loads of daft friendlies ..but that’s lapsed a little so it’s down to my memory ..think I’ve seen Burton on 3 grounds including the old Bass Vase

It was certainly well over 100 even back then and I've been meaning to update it but never quite got round to it... I've also got paper records of every Stoke match I've attended on old fixture lists, in diaries etc. I'd quite like to pull it all together, but not sure I'll ever find the time now!
