Has Shuey watched a different game to me? I wouldn’t call him ‘shuey’ It denotes familiarity, attachment, affection To my mind I don’t see why there should be any attachment to him He came here to further his ambition, wore shoes which were 5 sizes bigger than his foot and has through his utter cluelessness dropped us to the bottom 3 So no ‘shuey’ for me He’s all talk, bla, bla and more bla and brought absolutely nothing to this club Shuey my left foot and I would fall asleep if I had to listen to him droning on. Totally un-inispirational tone to his voice, but that's probably just me I've never listened to more than about 2 minutes of him talking and couldn't tell you what he said. I don't want to be disrespectful to his cousin who comes on here either BUT I do feel that people 'bought into' SS being the saviour in some strange way almost adopting him as 'one of our own' because of his relative posting on here. Now, I didn't want him to fail, who knows, they may give him time and he somehow keeps us up. However, I seriously doubt it. For the umpteenth time, he was the WRONG management choice for us where we were at and if I'd been him I'd have run a mile from it. He should've seen what was going on here with more experienced managers having failed and really asked himself if he was the one who could turn this around. He must've been suffering from delusions to think that he could!

Laurent’s header straight back to their goalie did it for me. 2-2 then and we could have won. thought the same. If he puts it the other side and puts his head through it, its 2-2

For the millions spent, to be where we are is astounding, dumbfounding and maddening. JC needed to find a football brain out there, then trust them. Too late now. Lambert was a Plan B that backfired after our attempt to hire a foreign manager failed. Rowett should have been shot, dug up and shot again. 50 million wasted and then he tried to blame fans, throw players under the bus etc. because NOTHING is ever his fault. Cartright and Scholes should have been prosecuted for fraud, waste and abuse for contributing to it. Jones? He should have been committed, not hired. MON should have been more of an upstairs type. His reign tainted by horrendous recruiting and "God knows what" kind of input from upper management. Neil, despite doing a decent job elsewhere became just another in a long list of "failures." Don't think he or Schumacher fully realized how deep this problem went until they got here. Already been established that La Vida Loca was not a fit and a bad egg for our omelet. You can't sustain a hit like that, someone in an influential position not getting it done. Every manager since Hughes has either made clear or veiled remarks about "players not wanting to play here." And we've had what, at least 4 managers that have stated an intended way of playing, only to see no players recruited for that? That smacks of upper management interference to me. I appreciate SJW for walking into this, despite knowing how big of a mess it is. He obviously does what he can for this club. I'd give him license for pigs heads in lockers and naked head-butting if that's what it takes. Personally would like to watch him kick the sh*t out of some of our current players - Nathan Heaney could referee. That event would sell more tickets than one of our matches at this point. And anyone blaming supporters...ffs people! We're lucky to still have the shrinking levels of support that we DO have. That point is already mute, because if we keep going like we are then blaming the 10 remaining supporters will be seen for what it is - foolishness. We've had it (money) and we've blown it. Not many clubs have ever had that luxury. Just a shame to see it all wasted. I understand the emotions that are swirling around, mixed with the feelings of desperation, but the complete failure to understand what has happened and why we are in the present situation does not bode well for our chances of staying in the Championship. MON saved us from almost certain relegation, avoided a points deduction for FFP, sorted out our finances, brought on young players and finished with 60 and 62 points in his two full seasons despite a horrendous injury list. At no point were we in any danger of relegation. We need another MON at the moment. We can still stay up. We have 12 games left and 12 pts. would probably be enough. I've said it before and I'll say it again, We will get more points from 1-0 wins than we are likely to get from 3-2 wins. Unfortunately our present manager, just like you, doesn't have a clue what is going on around him.

Best chance of staying up is to play 10 defenders. & pick up a point a game. I know it's a stupid suggestion. But what else is there. It's not as stupid as you think it is.

Thought they played much better 2nd half, but where was one of the manager's non negotiables -passing forward? It was like watching crab football

I don't know where we go from here, but I do think we are fucked.Hopeless at the back, chaos in the midfielder,a manager who surely must be wondering what the fuck he's done but has absolutely no idea how to remedy the situation, and an attack completely incapable of scoring.I'd been in denial until the first half against QPR but that shit show woke me up big time.

Again just back from the game of the 17,45 from Cardiff (Gallows humour a plenty with the Stokies on board......safe journey home to all of you)
We are down, simple as. First goal was almost like watching in slow motion....Second goal. Wow, watching a right back playing in midfield, get injured, see the ball passed to the right where he should have been & the inevitable happen. Thompson then berating Iversen didnt look good either
The game summed up with Burger trying to pull strings in the first half & having to tell Cundle where to run to. Jesus.....they havent got a clue.
A team of 11 Burgers we might have a chance, yet we have a team of Whoppers who aint Burger Kings.

Every manager in this league will have notes on us to start quick, pinch a goal and then shut up shop and counter. It’s happened so many times.

I actually think we were quite unlucky against Cardiff (defensive gaffes aside!). The first goal wasn't the most threatening header in the world and came about more from a comedy moment between Cundle and Iversen, who probably would have grabbed it otherwise. If Iversen doesn't slip, then he probably saves the second goal as well. Other than that, we limited them to very few chances and we had the better opportunities to score (especially from Ennis)... but didn't.

That’s brilliant. So fundamentally we let too many goals in and we don’t score enough 🤔

Really is excellent stuff the level of anlysis. That pass from Million was the best stoke related part of the game, wonderful. Ennis should've scored, but some credit for his movement too. A positive sign in a sea of shit. People don't like him, but, reading that, I'd be tempted to pick pearson to assist in breaking down the kind of scenario that lead to grants goal.

I think we the fans have to take some of the blame for hounding Hughes out. Should have stood by him till end of season. Hindsight eh.☹️ No-way. The beginning of the end was keeping onto Hughes as long as we did. Still baffles me how people can't see this! If anything the fans should be blamed for not shouting for him to be moved on a lot sooner than he was. & then for the owners to have employed a better replacement to keep us up than Paul Lambert!
