Or let Jared and Martin know what we think of their recruitment? I thought most on here were up for most signings. Ooohh can’t wait, going be fun if nothing else, yeh he’s a good signing him. That’s all I read on here in the summer. Even the other day on here fans were saying he’s ok, give him time he’s decent. All the fans were also criticising not getting a CB and only signing an ageing LB that had a crocked injury record. Fans have been calling it out over two windows and the club did f all. Martin and Jared out. NOW

We'll be there. Next 2 games . 6 points.
Get behind them.
It's shit or bust time.
Fans must never give in.
Some have gone from never going down to we are going down in the blink of an eye.

I'd usually agree with this sentiment. But when the players walked out at Ewood Park today and there were in the region of 3.5k of Stoke fans split over 2 tiers of the stand behind the goal, singing and supporting their club, that in itself should have signalled and been enough for the players to realise that as fans we're fully behind them. Fans don't travel in those numbers if they're not behind their team.
To go 0-1 happens but for us to go 0-3 down so quickly, & in the way that we did, I'm sorry but whether the fans are backing them or not, it really matters not.
That's where the fans apathy is coming from. As others have alluded to the players are highly paid to do what they do, we have to pay to do what we do & travel around the country watching them. At some point the air of grace & understanding, & wind of change will naturally occur.. If the players show a fight and spirit the fans do, I'm sure it'll be reciprocal..

Get behind who ? Daniel Johnson ambling round the pitch with no concern at all ? The lazy git should be nowhere near the ground in the next few matches let alone in the starting XI. An absolute disgrace

Owners need to show some leadership and remove Martin ahead of Wednesday that will give a lift if nothing else , if they don’t , concede and it’s going to be terribly toxic . He should have gone with Neil. Yet another bizzare decision. The club seem to have fallen for his office speak mentality. Even Schumacher is now spouting on about data.

Schumacher is naive and as many do copying his boss exactly why his boss wanted him can you imagine his little management speech with a Pulis , Warnock , Allardyce , etc etc , there’s nothing wrong with Data but it’s part of package of a balanced approachled by football insight experience and people insight by and this bloke is a walking theorist the West Ham academy under butler given total control of something way beyond his capability .

I don't disagree at all with all the negative comments - not at all, it's dire but the fact remains that a 'vocally supported' team will always do better on the day - and not when 'they've given us something to shout about'. I've listened to that from Stoke fans for over 60 years. Stoke fans used to have a great reputation at times over the years, for their vocal backing they weren't just 'singing when they're winning'. Yes, I've seen the lack of natural talent or lack of intense effort shown from too many of the squad but you have to stay positive. Kill them with kindness and encouragement, embarrass them to be better. Lack of talent is forgivable. Lack of effort is not.

Yesterday first half reminded me of when we played Huddersfield last year before Warnock took over. Good players, just not looking joined up as a team or playing to their strengths. He signed and things changed for them. If we'd played like that second half I'd have be thinking we need a new manager to keep us up. Fortunately we did start to play better. We give up so many goals on the counter attack, or transition as it's called now that it's concerning. Especially when you can see from the Blackburn comments they were targeting it, especially on the left. "We knew that we'd find space on transition so there was an element of allowing Stoke to come onto us." www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68189963Other teams have done the same and we may need to play deeper for a period. Definitely can't play Gooch at left or right back either.

Definitely can't play Gooch at left or right back either. It’s bloody simple, given the position we are in and how bloody low confidence is then you don’t set up initially to go gung Ho and essentially play 2 at the back. Start solid, get a foothold in the game and then press on. It’s kamikaze stuff at the moment, we are 2 down before even settling into the game. That is TOTALLY on the manager, he’s never been in a situation where his footballing principles need to be adapted to get results as a priority.
