A new badge would be a start! Nowt wrong with the badge Yep the old S-O-T badge with the quarters just looks like Sunderland's. The current badge has far more character and is easily recognisable. I always think it a pity the central stripe couldn't have been a bottle kiln though.

this is for 25/26 season - is that to appease us because the 2425 will have already been decided and more than likely will be a shocker, just like this years thin stripes and white back calamity

Whatever design they go with,it must have the stripes on the back,no more red or white squares.
Design a badge that represents the history of the city.

White or red socks? We've had both throughout our history but I must admit I prefer it when we wear red socks. We even dabbled in black socks pre-war and again in the 60's which I actually think looks pretty good....... www.historicalkits.co.uk/Stoke_City/Stoke_City.htm

Also in the 50s, looking at that historical kits site. Controversial opinion - I like the blue in the badge. It adds an alternative trim colour that separates us from Sunderland/Sheff U/Brentford. It's relatively recent I know and linked to the Icelanders(?), but it doesn't seem seem to have been officially "ditched".

The song “when the reds go marching in” makes no sense to me. Therefore I shall advocate the usual stripes with red shorts and socks to at least give the song some meaning

It's getting on for 100 years since a team in stripes won the League (Sunderland 1935/36). Theres nothing else for it............ bring back the pin stripes with the red sleeves Umbro 1983 kit design. Its time it redeemed itself.
