Well that was a pile of shite. Completely the wrong team & setup from the go. Really concerned about survival this season. Why the hell we didn't sign a l/b or c/b is really concerning.

I said Warnock was pretty much the only reasonable answer for this season.

Sadly I think you are right. FFS. We are a castle of sadness. Unfortunately Tony Mowbry was the answer Nuno was the answer but we hadn't got the balls for it....

They’re the best team in the league by a mile but my god the gulf between us and them is divisions apart.
That was as poor as anything we’ve seen in last 7/8 years.

Hmm. I didn't have any pics this time. But it seems we are worse than I thought.
It seems every manager we get start on an ok level, get us hard to beat at least, but then after a while we start to lose. Why is that?

We basically started the game with 2 players who looked like they didn't want to be here in Pearson and Campbell and put in zero effort between them
Can blame the defence all day but was basically them V tidal waves of Leicester attacks

Unfortunately, after the initial optimism of SS coming in and changing the way we play, we’re simply not good enough. We won’t get relegated, but that’s nothing to do with our own ability to keep ourselves in this league, it’s purely down to the fact there are enough teams that are, some how, worse than we are. I wish I could share your optimism mate, I know shit when I see it, and that was fucking shit.

We are only headed one way sadly and it’s not up, left or right
We might avoid it this season but we have circled the toilet bowl for far too long to get out

I've never said this about a Stoke side ever, but that side isn't worth the ticket. A few players are worth it and that's all I tune in for. Which ones? Bae and Burger. That's it. The rest can go in all fairness.

I get lLeicester are top of the league but they were quicker, fitter and first to every ball. As soon as I saw the team sheet, I half expected this kind of scoreline.

I don't understand why the team is being changed around so much. We have gone backwards since Cundle was introduced for example. Reasonable point. Cundle is clearly a guy the manager knows and trusts. We all have preferences (favourites) in any job where we are managers. I have employed people I know on projects who may have not been the best candidate but you know what you are getting. Admittedly, the expectatons of my managers are not quite so intense and immediate. ..and I might add, obvious. I can hide 'failure' Football Managers can't.... maybe that is reflected in their salary? No supporter wants to listen to a manager talk about constraints especially at Stoke where we have very few compared to 90% of other teams. Stoke is set up for a manager to succeed. We give them every bit of support needed. I guess, managers are like kids and they need a bit of direction and discipline along the way. It looks like we may be trying to change our approach but not quite quickly enough for some of our supporters.

2 games with wilmot back in and we let 8 goals in.. I know mcnally had a poor game v brum but he was striking a decent oartnership up with rose..was it a knee jerk reaction to bomb him out of the team.. To many changes bring made since the brum game has totally disrupted the team.

Have we ever put out a team as weak as that both physically and mentally?
And the " ability " to time and time fail to bring a football under control you wouldn't expect from a bunch of beer monsters playing on a Sunday morning after a Saturday night session.
And even more scary was how lost and bewildered the manager looked.
This isn't going to end well I fear.

Having sacked the clueless and miserable Neil we should have gone for a continental manager who could bring a breath of fresh air and imposed his personality and ideas on the club. But no the board feel more cosy appointing another nobody who will not have the balls to challenge the status quo. A little man like John Coates cannot accept the idea of appointing a manager with a strong personality who would just tell him to stay away. At the end of the day this is the root of the problem. We had the chance to go for someone like Hassenhuthl but no, let’s just go for another little man from a little club who would be just so grateful for having joined a bigger club. It’s so predictable and pathetic

I think none of us expected anything today, but fuck me that’s just not acceptable. What we should expect as a bare minimum is some grit, some balls, some fucking fight.
I’m now genuinely concerned about relegation and wonder how and when this horrific downturn in the performance of everyone connected with our club will end.

That was embarrassing it really was.
Fair play to them they’re a bloody good side and streets ahead of us but the worst element of that performance was the total lack of fight and willingness to roll their sleeves up.
You’d have thought they were a team chasing a game rather than being 3/4 nil up.
I’m not sure where we go from here after that but Monday SS needs to have a long sit down with the squad because if they take that lack of fight through to the end of the season we’ll go down.
I’m no fan of Mmaee but I hope to god he’s not frozen him out because he’s better than Campbell and Lowe (who looks nowhere near ready). Thought that Ennis looked lively.
I guess one positive is that Junior should be back next week and Milion hopefully will be fit to play.
