I can’t decide if we’re close to being mint because we looked great on the ball but about as lethal as a Nerf gun. Alternatively out of possession we look like we still lack a dominating spine to the team so are still miles off.
One thing though- even in defeat I was entertained which is a marked improvement on the shit I’ve seen the last few years. At least we had some balls to chase the game!

You’re making my point for me - even if we lost four in a row (including today and QPR), Schumacher would still be averaging a point a game from his first nine. You have to be very bad to get relegated from this division and we’ve got more than enough to stay up. Im not a saying we will be relegated but to think we arent in the mix is naive any backward step from here and we are in Gerry resl risk and the fixtures coming aren’t kind. Coventry and Leicester for two are likely to be damage limitation. Damage limitation V Coventry 😁 Do you ever stop? Who have we had to resort to damage limitation to this season despite being awful?

Thanks for that badger I’m so looking forward to seeing my grandson walk out with the players 👍 Don’t cry FFS😉 Managed to hold back the tears yesterday mate until final whistle 😃 My grandson had a great day met all the players and got selfies with them, went into changing rooms and press rooms. He walked out with Lewis baker who was talking to him and gave crowd a little wave. Good insight from my son about some of the players and mentioned Campbell a top guy with the kids, Most were great Pearson not walked away from kids not giving all the kids autographs and the parents booed Pearson 😃

We look a lot better side between both boxes now. The problem is we’re still as bad in those boxes. Can’t defend and can’t take chances. Some of the build up play yesterday was excellent especially second half. We need a commanding centre half and I was a bit surprised Wilmot didn’t start as one of the two. We did though look so much better as a 352 when Schumacher changed things and IF we’re going to keep relying on Mmaee he definitely needs someone up there with him ala Campbell. If he carries on with the same players then he may well see us as better off 352 than 433. Personally I hope we can bring in another forward and a couple of defenders and can stick with the 433. Mmaee doesn’t do it for me.

We need TWO penalties (and to be able to score them), because we can't score from open play!!! It's arguable we actually should have been given two penalties

I think Schumacher was hoping for 3 points v Brum as we have three difficult games next - could define our season if we get dragged back into bottom

Wouldn’t say they’re any difficult than any other games to be honest. Everyone’s capable and very likely of beating everyone bar about 2 teams in this league. Standard is diabolical

I live in an Outlying Village BUT regard Stafford as my home town. Not a Stafford/SCFC pub perse but in Stafford there are pubs that are generally either known to be frequented/populated by either Stoke or Wolves fans. Was definitely more the case in the 90's/00's when pubs were more the vogue. The Coach & Horses in the town centre on Mill Bank has always been known as a Stoke fan based pub. The Holmcroft, Staffordshire Bull (Parkside), The Luck Penny likewise. The Crispins on Stone Rd used to be aswell before it became a nursing home. Whereas The Wildwood, Rileys Snooker Hall, The Linton Tavern (as used to be), The Oxleathers, The Royal Oak are known to be frequented more by Wolves fans. Generally as a guide pubs to the north of the town are more Stoke associated & pubs to the south of the town are more Wolves.

It's arguable we actually should have been given two penalties I remember one!!! 🤔 There was the Lowe one, where he got clipped but stayed on his feet and so typically the ref didn't give it. (Exasperatingly, refs not giving them is the reason for all that "he's got every right to go down" bollocks). And there was, I think Vidigal(?), Brum player won the ball but then tripped him up. Ok he played the ball first, but if the refs giving the free kick on the edge of the box for when Cundle won the ball, then to be consistent he gives that penno. I did say arguable, not definite, but I think I've got a point, if the refs going to be consistent. Which he definitely wasn't!

The one on Lowe I recall... if he goes down, we stand a good chance of a peno.... but he probably remembers the game against Southampton when their defender literally man handled him to the ground in complete Rugby fashion, and never got a peno, so he thought he may as well try to stay on his feet and get the ball!!! 😆

It's ridiculous that wasn't given, that would have even been a foul in rugby! I think you've got a fair point there lol 😅
