He won't be playing a minute once Gooch and Tchmaedau are back. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh dear you are setting yourself up to be disappointed. I don't mind Hoever generally, he's a good attacking full back. He was just dog shit today.

He won't be playing a minute once Gooch and Tchmaedau are back. We'll see eh?😉 To be fair Thompson has played himself into the reserve 6 infront of walking yellow. So although he has done well at LB, Gooch starts. Tchmaedau may play further up to be fair as he has good raw attributes and pace but I'd like to see him instead of Hoever.

Hoever is very good at bringing the ball through 'the lines' and that's why he plays every week. He gets sloppy sometimes but no other player in the squad can do what he does. He also reads danger well and makes important interceptions and blocks. People only see the very noticeable dropped bollocks though. He won't be playing a minute once Gooch and Tchmaedau are back. We can only hope!

Thought Hoever was fine today Haksabanovic struggled was happy enough with everyone else Burger and Baker excellent Haks can’t beat a man Mmaee was also poor in the way of not being strong enough some decent touches but he’s nowhere near physical enough for this league

Iversen- 7 Hoover - 6 McNally -7 Rose - 8 Thought that was the best I’ve seen him play in Stoke colours Thompson 7 Burger - 8 Motm. He was everywhere! Baker - 8 The free kick was a 10 Cundle - 8 Really impressive debut Vidigal - 7 Maee - 6 Haksabanovic - 6 ————————————- Leris 7 Campbell n/a Pearson n/a On for only a few minutes and still find a way to get booked!

Would be interesting Vidigal did well today out wide although should have scored. Leris did ok when he came on but we are crying out for someone to beat a man

Iversen 8 Commanded his box Hoover 6 Mediocre defending at best Mcnally 7 good defensive display Rose 7 as above Thomspon 6 did what was required Burger 9 *MOTM not his best position, but he's a classy player. Baker 7 Good goal, did ok otherwise too Cundle 7 Good player, but not a game changer. Worth about the quoted 1.5 mill if we'd sign him permanently. Vidigal 7 Wasted couple of good changes but looks dangerous in and around the box Mmaee 6 Had no service, did what he could Hax - 6 Lively but no end product
Pearson 4 did nothing really besides the card Leris 6 OK as a sub today Campbell 6 some promising moments but nothing special. Needs minutes under his belt.

Beagrie would cost a fortune these days

Needs minutes under his belt. Another agenda driven set of ratings particularly as regards Hoever . Lest you doubt then watch EFL replays . In the whole 90 minutes he misplaced ONE pass . He was also the counter press guy whenever we had a corner and stopped two potential breakaways . Defensively he hardly put a foot wrong . Offensively he didn’t advance that much so overall I’d give him a 7 . Motm must be Baker for the one piece of quality in what frankly was a dire game of football. Let’s not pretend that we still can’t score from open play though Vidigal had 3 chances and failed to hit the target . He seems to panic atm

He’s far too dynamic for a deep lying midfielder like Etebo and Laurent. We want our Whelan.
