He had something of the petulant child about him first half with Hoever and Leris pocketing him completely.
Once Leris went off and the right hand side became way less dynamic, and McNally having an absolute stinker, he came into it greatly and was the difference second half.
If Leris had stayed on to cover on the right and allow Hoever to cover Pedro the same way we’d have done much better.
He is quality though.

He caught the eye from the off I thought his movement and anticipation was terrific Hoever had the beating of him defensively 1v1 a few times early doors, to the point Pedro was lashing out at him after the ball had gone a couple of times out of frustration. He did it once right in front of the 4th official and if Hoever had made more of it he should have been booked. Hoever was also stepping out and nicking it a few times, one of which lead to a big chance not long before the goal. Can’t quite remember too but one might have even lead to the goal, it certainly came shortly after a turnover from us pressing. As the game progressed for sure he pushed on and was the difference.

That's what £30 million buys you. Unless you decide instead to spunk it on Gianelli Imbula, Kevin Wimmer, Badou Ndiaye, Saido Berahio or Benik Afobe. There's 90 million quid, right there! I’m sorry but I have heard of any of them 😀

He done one flick in the first half right in front of me and his pace to keep the ball in was frightning. We are unlikely to see his like again at the 365. I thought we managed Ferguson well.
