Daft question, but could we make the pitch wider? I just feel like teams can come here and defend so easily.

He had to take Hoover off at ht today, the lad was getting terrorised by Dembele all of the first half. Who then commits the foul for the 2nd goal? The lad who should have been taken off. Edit - SS has a massive job on his hands to turn this home form around. I can’t believe he actually thought it was a good idea to send Hoever out for the second half He needs sending back to Wolves. Complete liability

Best home performance of the season today Not that hard mind given most of what AN served up
But we still lost
Should have scored 5 or 6 goals today

Today was just very stoke but with a smile not a dour Scot’s interpretation. The managerial change has doe nothing toi chsnge our forward line is absolutely dire as bad as it gets in this league or below. .

Only rose and Thompson and Wilmot when he came on came out with any credit today. I’m not a fan of hoever but the cheering and booing when he came off was shocking to hear I felt sorry for him

That’s just a nonsense. Pretty football with limited end result equals defeat. Only goals win games. Stoke fans should know this, we made a living out of beating teams by the odd goal in the prem years whilst watching them have more possession and chances. Our “leaders” have supposedly known the absence of our attacking threat for 6 years and continued to sign abject forward players.

The consistency of burger is fantastic I actually thought he was poor first half and hid. McNally was doing most of the play making and it fucking showed. Second half though he woke up and stole the show.

The midfield to a man hid and left it to him. Hence the fuck ups.

When you say McNally was the play maker he was in midfield just to halfway line on the right near where I was sitting. Tried some passes and hardly made any. I wouldn’t call that a play maker

It was painful. Yes that’s my point. He had most of the ball and it fucking showed, we were abject in the first half.

I had two very football savvy not Stoke supporting mates at the game today, not sitting with me. When we met post match they summed it up as; Stoke should have won 4_2, and Burger was outstanding. They didn't know his name but thought our right back had a poor game.

We need a goalscorer that we haven’t had for years I’m hoping that Schumacher makes it priority

I like Vidigal and Mmaee but they need pressure on them. We are too easy to play against at home and yesterday was just a continuation of that. We got what we deserved.

Scoring goals is a huge problem. We have some very good players but not enough who score goals. Our build up play was very good but we often make the wrong decisions in the final third. It’s not just a striker it’s the other players too. Bae is fantastic and has great feet. He works really hard but has little end product. Cundle looks another meh player. Contrast with a Nick Powell who when fit( I know, I know) would get you a decent goal return. We simply have to find more goals. We should have won comfortably yesterday.

For far too long now,for some reason we haven't been capable of breaking teams down who sit back.
Putting a good final ball in would help, scoring more from corner kicks & free kicks too,but we don't do either of those often enough.
