Can’t believe Lee Johnson managed for as long as he did over there. Absolute fraud of a manager. Arrogant fat little turd. He`s not fat.

He’s adored in that part of the country albeit a few tram stops down the coast. Good appointment I think. Can see him being an established manager. Can assure you any former Blackpool player won’t be adored in Fleetwood. Charlie’s a mess, never looked after himself on and off the pitch. Contributed greatly to our relegation, can’t quite see the love in.

He was a cracking player for us and only ever gave 100%. Scored some massively important and great goals for us, but some would rather remember the penalty miss in a season where we were going down whether he was playing for us or not.

Looks like he's had a shit spray tan done 🤣 Good luck to him though, I think he'll do well to be honest. Maybe he will come back one day as he knows the club...

Living in Blackpool, Charlie is renowned for gambling, drinking (drink driving is also public knowledge now). Always in nightclubs before games, saw it with my own eyes pal. He wasn’t a good professional at all. Furthermore if he’d have been a tad fitter maybe he’d have followed in that penalty against Brighton or not been sent off in a crunch game with Everton. I’m allowed an opinion mate. x.com/TalkingTHFC/status/453138574515634176?s=20

All the best Charlie hope you make a success of your first management gig, one of my fav players of the past decade. Scored some worldies for us. Every Stokie should have fond memories of Charlie his 2 crackers giving us our first win over the shit in a generation. Old School bet he will have a many stories to tell not like 99% of the bland footballers of the present day. He also suffered a massive personal loss while at Stoke that many people no matter who you are would struggle to come to terms with and he wanted to play for us during that time and scored winning goals to keep us up that season.

Cod ArmyWayne Bibby works for the football club mate. He’s part of matchday setup/ supporter liaison. I know plenty of Fleetwood fans, non are happy with it.

There's no denying that Charlie Adam didn't look after himself as well as a top level professional footballer should these days, but he gave me some great moments watching him play and for his two goals only that saw us beat Man Utd for the time in the league I'd ever seen, he will always be held in very high esteem with me

I think it'll be very mixed mate, just like it always is here. I live just up the road (ceveleys) the supporters I know are quite happy with him as he's always visited fleetwood....only worry they have is he's not managed before.....none care about his fitness or social life.

Big respect for Charlie, still a bit pissed off with the red card vs Everton though

Adam was a decent player for us hope he does well, its obvious hes had massive drink issues, I think a lot has to do with his father being a massive influence on him.

Yeah, Craig Bellamy wasn't exactly Ronaldinho himself, and neither him or Charlie were ever really good enough to be playing for a club like Liverpool. Although I don't care about his career at Liverpool, I enjoyed watching him play for us for the most part whilst he was here, so that's where I base my opinion of him. Yes, he was part of a rancid relegation squad, but so were a lot of other so called senior players, and along with the useless management team they all played their part.

I think they call players him like ‘proper ballers’ nowadays.
Good luck Charlie.
