You should be congratulated for your eternal optimism if not your judgement. The reason the team did not have a preseason is not my fault. We have had 2 International breaks and each time he has given the players a week off. I wonder why they haven't gelled yet, even tho' you told us weeks ago that they had. By the way, I hope that upon reflection, you are as ashamed of your behaviour as you should be. Please don't waste your time attempting to justify it to me. Sorry mate, we're not even at Christmas. You don't know what the second half of the season holds. That's why a season is 46 games, I'm not happy atm but I'm not in despair, it's game, we'll win some, lose some & draw some. During that time we'll play very well, we'll play average and we'll play very poor. I hate to break it to you mate but in recent history apart from a purple patch Stoke have always been a mediocre lower league club. I don't know where this sense of entitlment comes from? Is it because the Coates' are rich we should be a Premiership club? Maybe they should sell up and bring you back to reality? How tf are you going to cope if they did get promoted and we're getting our arses served to us on a plate reguarly? I’m not sure where you get the idea we have been a lower league side for most of our recent history. We’ve been in the Premier League for ten of the last twenty years and a top flight side for 62 years of the last 108

This is us we're a second tier club, I grew up watching Kyle Lightbourne, Sheron, Peschilsolido, Thorne & Stein in the lower leagues. Auto trophys etc, the Premiership in most years recent was like a vacation

Check it out, you couldn't be more wrong about my views.

Sooner or later Brighton & Brentford will be back where they belong aswell

On the other hand it is questionable how long the present system can survive. The riches of the Premier League are damaging football throughout all of Europe, not just in England. A milion £ being paid for a 15 year old is ridiculous, at a time when most of the EFL can hardly afford to pay that amount for a seasoned professional.

I agree with you but it's something they have to do to try to stay there, the consequences come later as we found ourselves. All I want to do is enjoy the football, yes it would be nice to get to the Premiership for a couple of seasons again but it's not imperative. I don't get where all this Stoke are failing we're not in the Premiership nonsense comes from. In that case 80 out of 100 league clubs are failing. Can't we just enjoy the football season for what it is and ups & downs, buying the odd key signings that makes a difference etc. Constant moaners that Stoke arn't a Prem Club are just thieves of joy to your average footy fan. We just want to watch some football with the joys and downfalls that come with a football season. Its all part and parcel. You cant tell me if youre moaning from day one you're a football fan, a prem fan more like. Weve played 19 games and the moaning, whinging, has been a constant throughout, what do they get from it? I dont think i've seen toys out of pram throwing champions like certain Stoke fans from any other club that has had a stint in the Prem. Yeah be in shock for a season or two but it's been 6 or 7 years of constant whining, get over it. We're an established championship club now with 'hopes' nothing more than getting g it right one year and going up again, in the meantime we have to enjoy it for what it is
