Pedigree in the Queens head in Talke, or some awful shit in the pubs in Pompey Long live the Queens! I started my drinking career next door in the Swan. Lowenbrau on draft. Beautiful. Going round to the Queens and watching the chaos unfold as a 16 year old was an experience. It's fair to say that Vale fans weren't welcome in there in the early 90s!

Dark mild. Then after a few weeks bitter. Like when young footballers have a few games as sub before making starting 11

Triple whisky and lemonades in the tontine on a Saturday dinner time to start though 😬 Remember those DJ events they used to have in the Tontine beer garden in the late 90’s/early 2000’s? They were pretty good, then you’d go inside for a drink and there’s just be owd drunks lining the bar. Were you one of those at the bar?🤔

Triple whisky & lemonade, 6 pints around town, back home for tea. Get changed, out up castle until 2am+. Stagger home, pass out, dad twatting the bedroom door at 10am with the hoover. Back out Sunday afternoon until kicking out time. Work Monday morning then Hanley for Student night. Best time of my life!

Had a rule that I never drank the same drink twice on a Friday/Saturday evening so I ended up with some rather feminine drinks!
If I had to pick I’d say Strongbow.

Manhattan for a couple of Black Russians and a Calders or Carling Premier, onto Yates’ for some cheap piss lager, Trinity’s to have a drink thrown at me by some frigid bird, onto the Foyer for a couple of Rolling Rock, Millionaires for whatever was a quid a pint, Flacketts for Red Stripe on draught, Rosie’s for a couple of Vodka and Cokes then Place basement for Les Hemstock and a forgettable amount of alcohol followed by trying to tip the fat peados burger van over, Dixy Fried chicken £1.75 special (donner, 1 piece chicken, 3 hot wings and fries. Taxi to pull up at Park Hall lake and run as fast as I could.

First time getting pissed was on Super Kestel because 9% beer is a great introduction to alcohol for a 14 year old lol. Never again.
Labbatts featured a lot as well as the aforementioned Colt 45, Breaker and Rolling Rock. Hooch and Smirnoff Mule were a fad for a bit as well. Surprised no-ones mentioned Grolsch yet.
