An incredibly satisfying win that, the team seem to be digging in for each other and the manager. We have some genuinely raw but exciting players, Burger and Leris were immense chasing down everything all over the pitch Leris is also becoming some kind of weird pseudo target man with his incredible leap and knock downs, Vidigoal was constantly tracking back and doing the hard work as well as popping up and looking exciting, really like the cut of Mmaee's jib as well....Gooch i keep forgetting about him massively underrated signing and possibly the ultimate sub, as he's got incredible close ball control and actually quite decent pace. Big Wes...am not sure whether he's good or not but i love big Wes. We didn't even play Jnr and Bae!!!! ... benching Laurent for 2 games was a masterstroke...comes on as a late sub and he's suddenly back to his best, and using the physicality we all know he has. Upper the F**king beautiful Potters!!! (I've had a couple of cans....mmmm cans) Lovely summary. We are developing ....

Pearson was outstanding, best game for Stoke imo. Leris was an unsung hero as well, won more in the air than you would expect.

He lost his head for a minute and give away the penalty. The rest of the game he was unbelievable. He slipped as he went into the tackle. He didn’t lose his head, he was unlucky. Leave him as captain. He will step up to the responsibility. Superb tonight He most definitely did lose his head for a minute or so. He thought he got fouled (ref gave nothing), had a coming together with James and clashed heads which riles him, also gave the ball away. He needed the ball to go out of play and compose himself, instead he found himself tracking Bamford in the penalty area and messed up. Other than that he had a very good game, but we got lucky and he needs to control his temper.

For me leris was solid tonight, great match again, up the potters... I thought Leris was excellent tonight and I thought that was Burgers best performance so far. McNally put in some vital blocks too. Thought McNally was excellent👍

Hugely important and deserved result with some outstanding individual performances and also knitted together as a team . Big big step and improvement one can only hope it’s a signal for an significant improvement over nov and December when the fixtures on paper at least are a bit kinder , credit to the manager too over the last 5 days .

McNally put in some vital blocks too. I have been watching Leris closely as I noticed he won everything in the air against Southampton. Looks to be very strong in the air & I believe he only lost 1 in air dual tonight. Looks to be a big strength of his. Agree with McNally & his blocks tonight too, they were crucial.

Was our penalty shout a penalty?
Again it looked it from where I sit but I don’t trust my eyes 🤣

From the Leeds forum.
Some worried about Stoke parking the bus, bloody ran the bus over the top of us, outplayed us from the 1st minute. Shocking display.
Exactly. Stoke looked more like promotion contenders than we did.

I think it looks like he slipped when trying to (an admittedly do or die) tackle, but he was so worked up he didn't realize what a bad idea it was. Other than that, he was a superb leader in that he never shyed away from a duel, never gave up, and won the ball countless times and didn't give it away easily. Good passing as well.

Two questions; Are you looking forward to the game? How would you feel if we play well but lose? Not a lot - Most of my wife's family are Leeds fans. Phone hasn't rung yet!

I’ve just had a leisurely perusal of a Leeds forum….it appears they only have to turn up,the points will be in the bag and they’ll get the 2nd automatic promotion spot, amazing really. That also seemed the attitude of their team last night. As if my hatred of this horrible club could deepen…what a bunch they are.

A great result and the return of the injured players is making a huge difference. The dropping of Laurent has also improved the side. Our forwards are now looking lethal and Vidigal deserved a goal for his efforts. That header he did that went straight into the keeper's arms was like a bullet. Either side of him and it would have been in. It's looking promising and how often have we been able to say that? Travers is looking to be a very good signing too. Am dead chuffed. Well done everybody.

We are certainly more cohesive as a unit the last 2 games, we went to Boro last season when they were flying and gave them a really hard game, much the same this season, but I think we actually have a better team now.

I don't see how anyone can think it's a pen. Never in a million years! I thought it was a pen and still do. Amazed it wasn’t given. The defender barely touches him and it's certainly not enough to make him fall over. If it's a foul then we might as well make it a non-contact sport.
