What!? “Custardy stuff”? Surely not Just isn't Arctic Roll as we knew it They just can't leave the classics alone. First Scrappy Doo, now Arctic Roll Maybe it's ordinary Arctic Roll, they just don't know it's supposed to be kept in the freezer?

Mmm , a league contested by Monaco ( owned by an anonymous russian billionaire who lives in a 300 million quid Monaco apartment) and the Qatari owned PSG , a club with so much money they make Monaco look like peasants. And a load of non runners. Hard to image the Prem being dominated by the Saudi royal family ( Newcastle) and sheik monsours United Arab Emirates family worth over a trillion quid, Man City ( yep ! You read it right! Not a billion, a trillion!) Oh hang on a minute? We are half way there, to be the French league 2. Unfortunately. Monaco haven’t challenged for donkeys. Marseille and Lyon are the other two of the “big 3” although they have mainly underperformed as well. There’s some decent sized clubs with pretty good teams that get crowds of 30,000 or so such as Lens, Lille, Nantes, Rennes, Nice and Toulouse. I think if PSG carry on underperforming it could actually be a really competitive league and not a bad one to watch…. Is far from dull You get those say the MLS is rubbish but when you dig, they've never seen more than a couple if games if any . Certainly a case or two of that in here looking at the comments

They won 3-1 in front of a sell out crowd (about 16,000)

Was just about to say, PSG have basically ruined it. The title is pre determined before the season has even started so all that's at stake is who makes up the last couple if Champions League places and who gets relegated. Not very enticing for neutrals, hence the lack of interest from broadcasters. Some individual matches can be very entertaining and outside of PSG it's a very competitive and unpredictable league. But the headline prize is what people care about and when everybody knows who's won the title before a ball has been kicked it's no surprise that interest levels are low. The Bundesliga needs to be careful too. I think it's got a bit more international interest than Ligue 1 and Dortmund are usually competitive in Europe as well as Bayern. But domestically Bayern Munich have won 11 consecutive league titles which is extremely boring and if that streak isn't ended soon then their TV deals could go down the pan too. Even the Premier League should be worried about Man City's dominance recently and crossing their fingers that their recent stumble continues a bit longer because a whiff of predictability is starting to come in here too.

Hopefully the Arab oil states will fuck the lot. It's become a dick swinging exercise for Middle East countries. I honestly hope it falls round their ears.
