Will be known as Claire Voyant. From the link to the official site: Clark joins after helping Sheffield United to promotion in 23/24. Wonder if he can do the same for us too? It does seem he got on the pitch 10 times while on loan at Sheffield United in the 22/23 season.

What is the talk about his wage demands? Have I missed something? He hasn't earned anything since May, and by mid October he still hadn't got a team, he wasn't exactly in a position to be too demanding? the72.co.uk/2023/10/01/stoke-city-faltering-in-pursuit-of-ex-premier-league-defender-talks-stalling-over-personal-terms/Think people are just basing it on what Nixon wrote - and the knowledge that we'd been after him since even before the window closed. Maybe the Wilmot injury forced our hand? Or maybe he realised if he didn't take our offer, that was his career over. Both sides realised they were in Last Chance Saloon maybe?

How long until he's Stoke fit Might take a couple of weeks to bring him down to our level fitness wise. Hopefully he’s moved into the area and uses Nigde on a regular basis

I wonder what the bloody hell has attracted him to come here after the train wreck that is our start to the season.
A bit like joining Findus Crispy Pancakes PLC circa 2013.

Was there a reason he didn’t play much last season? Was he injured or did Sheff Utd just have better?
We desperately need experience in there, so I’m happy about this.

Even made me back it up with google maps because he wouldn’t have any of it! What a place. Still yet to meet Turkish Nigel btw.

Good things come to those who wait. I'm looking at the bigger picture and the future, not the past. I'm content we have a good manager and that will show once we can field a strong 11

Every football club categorise players in this way - it helps to make sure that you have a balanced squad. 'Cultural Architect' is just the idea that you are a leader who sets an example. However, it is very bizarre to see Tricky Ricky coming out with this in public. I am not quite sure who it is meant to impress. Yeah not in this look at me how clever am I way. Same as Neil its just a vanity show. Youngster, seasoned Pro? Model professional. Its the same shit. In our league there is one figure that matters and that's resale value So he's not done better with recruitment than the past 5-10 years worth of managers at Stoke? He's gotten in young and exciting players (Tchamadeu, Burger, Jun-ho) who hopefully will have resale value? He's not gotten some solid pros through the door to help (Travers, Gooch)? Rhetorical questions. I don't care what charts he wants to have as long as he gets it done. So far it looks promising. Not his fault Neil chops and changes, nor that half the squad are in the treatment room.

Great signing and with experience. Look what people said about Enda Stevens and look how we have missed him over recent matches. Hopefully he will be back for the next game so we have a solid backline. People suggested his legs have gone and that he was no better than Fox Clearly they haven't and imho he's miles better than Fox However they also said he's been injury prone and that's been borne out already Clark has decent pedigree, left sided too but again he's been injury prone Needs must signing why wasn't it done weeks ago/just after deadline? I've heard it said he wanted 30k a week and that's why we didn't sign him. If true you can bet we are paying close to it now out of desperation.

Cultural Architect....Oh, just fuck off.
Is that bellend speak for 'dressing room leader'?
Neil will probably play him as a left wing-back anyway.

Dublin is the main man behind the players we have brought it. I completely agree signings this summer have been absolutely class bar from not signing a 9 and a 5 although I think the clubs who got relegated elevated the market to a point we couldn't compete for our main marquee signings. It just doesn't sit well with me how he is when we are sat 21st in the league. Whoever his culture cultivator tractors are it's not working. Main one being the Disciplinarian Fun Muncher in charge.

I think 😄 haha I thought it was some posh architect designing a building in his neighbourhood that had cultural meaning to his local people. Bit like Hume Upright creating a new toilet block in Hanley dedicated to Tony Pulis with the building full of ornate WC's from down the ages. In memory of our industrial heritage and our greatest leader.
