Simples: Stop going to the games, why put yourself through it, same shit different week.Think about it: the same old posts week in week out. I haven't been for ages until the Preston game. A lacklustre huff and puff display with all the attacking threat of a kids party knife. I won't go again until things change. The owners have tried to change things and it hasn't worked out (maybe, hopefully it will). Threads like this don't fill me with confidence a radical change is coming. Most threads on this board are negative and rightly so, it's a place to vent. The early noughties pre Prem years were good, we were a force in this league, not now. Hoping for better times soon. VUF.

How many of the subs were fully fit? We managed to play 11 players who were approaching full fitness. Of the others, who knows.

I honestly feel some Managers are just not as passionate as the fans about gaining an additional point. They are too risk averse. AN is probably terrified of additional injuries and thought fuck it we’ve lost anyway. There is something in our “Whole Club Mentality” that is now so far out of calibration that I worry about our immediate future. We cannot continue to walk the tightrope. We will fall at some point. That will involve playing in League One soon I feel. Football managers are absolute cnuts they just spoil a good game.

I always thought that he was something of a dead ball specialist. The fist time we got forward today we won a free kick in a promising position and he just aimlessly floated it into the keepers arms. Then, in the second half, after spending the match chasing shadows and giving the ball away, he gets it in a great position on the edge of the box, dawdles, delays and loses it. Not impressed with him at all.

Despite being a ST holder I go when it’s convenient. There are much more important things in life like personal well being.

This weird approach is just as infuriating as the last weird approach WTF can’t we achieve any sort or balance?

The South Korean lad we’ve got should play in that attacking midfield position, and I fully expect him to do so as the season progresses.

I think that AN's in-game tactical changes and substitutions have been pretty questionable throughout most of his reign here. Which is surprising really. Very disappointed with him in that respect When he came to us a Sunderland manager he changed them at half time and they went on to beat us and my Sunderland mate said that was one of his big positives Don't see it since he joined us Similarly, benHD Preston supporting YouTuber said he learnt a lot about tactics by watching AN operate. He’s barely better than MON in that regard. It was the one thing I was looking forward to the most after suffering MON’s tactical limitations but he’s been an enormous letdown.

Two words to describe AN's tactics today.
Damage limitation
No guts, no glory.
Its got to be over for him now or very soon. The fella has no fight left in him, the fans have no confidence in him.

I think that’s the correct assumption Bae with Pearson, Laurent, Burger permed in a 2 behind but I’ve no faith with managers fascinations with certain players.

I was ok with the game plan albeit boring to watch We could have even scored ourselves but it wasn't to be again However when we decided to have a go we looked semi threatening. But around 70 mins it was obvious we needed to make some subs and throw our hat in the ring but he didn't for some reason What is the point in doing that in the 88th minute when the game has gone? Poor stuff re in game management from Mr Neil Personally I think it was an insult to the substitutes who came on at that time

When Varney was coming on, you just knew he would score, But AN just stood there and did nothing, just kept to the same players. I honestly now believe he is here just for the money, if he does well OK, If he his sacked he will be far richer than he was. Is that Reg Varney? We'd parked the bus by then

His games plans, tactics, in game management and subs have been shit from day one. Consistent at least!

The game was written off before kick-off. This is unacceptable. Pulis often used to do the same, albeit with a much better and organised defence. But when the first goal goes in, you know it's over
The fact is that playing against superior opposition is even more incentive to give it a go and get at them. Football is supposed to be about pitting yourself against such opposition. Always with the element of 'you never know'. No-one would complain if didn't come off, having given it a real go.
Deficiencies in the squad and tactics, set- up, aside, of course.
Unfortunately, I now pretty much expect us to lose any and every game.

Constantly overthinking and adjusting based on opposition rather than setting us up to dominate games

What message must he be sending out to the players ?
" Right lads ,you've no chance today ,you are nowhere near good enough to win this so I want 10 men behind the ball at all times and we will hope for the best .If we concede I might let a couple of you venture over the halfway line but don't hang about there too long. And anyone on the bench today I might give some of you 5 minutes at the end if you're lucky.Good luck "
When he finishes with football ( hopefully soon ) he will make a cracking motivational speaker !
