12,shots non on target bunch of frauds You can’t blame Neil because they can’t hit a barn door I've always said that. The manager is not on the pitch and he's not the one showing bad ball control, crap shooting etc. However I'd till rather have TP in charge, he'd soon sort out the wheat from the chaff! Or a modern / younger version of him

How many teams in this league have spent more money on new players than we have? Genuinely a good and interesting question. Would love to see the stats. Something told me the new transfer team were spiel merchants without credentials. Look how wolves gained success. Hired the hottest agent on the block and handed him a credit card. We hired someone else's academy director and his mate?

It should be mate but when I saw Wesley against Watford I thought shit we are in trouble he is such a lump it unreal. Yes we have made a cock up with only 3 centre half’s but good it’s a even bigger cock up getting Wesley and not a goalscorer

Poor from top to bottom at the moment, best it improves soon or else things may turn ugly, and I don't mean that lot from Burslem appearing down Stoke.
We won't hear the last of it that they are still in the cup and we are out.

The sad thing is I didn't look at the score until 60 mins.I started the season full of anticipation and excitement, and before October I've lost all interest. 4 season tickets I purchased for me and my 3 grandsons again, what a load of dross again ,so disappointed.

There's a relegation battle ahead but what's the point in staying in this league? We can't finish above 16th. We're a joke Last time we got relegated the silver lining was getting back in the habit of winning. But we never did. I fear it could be the same if we went down to league 1 as a We would get rinsed every week with this squad,no heart,no desire and no minerals.

I wonder how many Stokies made the effort for what was always going to be the most regulation of 2-0 wins.
Fair play to each and every one of them.
As soon as the draw was made we all knew this would be the predictable outcome.

Championship Manager signings, Jarred Dublin, Ricky Martin
Fucking joke of a club from top to bottom with the most gullible owners having their pants pulled down by prime bullshitters time after time but never learning from their mistakes

Can't deny Tony loved the club. Left his own mum's wake to be on the sideline I recall one time. Legend.

Opposition in our box are given way too much time, their strikers have enough time to stop the ball, stoop on it, lay a turd, do a 180 turn and then shoot. Same thing happened against hull, same thing happened at Norwich but luckily they didn’t score from it. It’ll probably happen at Bristol too

Tweo game changing substitutions decided the game. I thought we could have similar impact if we made ours early, but the manager was too scared to try that and left them late and just threw them in to fit his pattern of play, not to change it.

Ok, it would potentially alienate a section of supporters who were vehemently anti TP even at the height of his successes here (pound for pound given the culture and financial disparity in football even in his time, he has a very strong case for being potentially our greatest ever manager), but he would get this shower organized, resilient and bring back the spine to this side, and would weed out the toxic influences both within the squad and above if allowed to do so. Plus he's someone who bought into the culture and the community of this football club, which is something we desperately need at this precise moment in time as the disconnect between club and fan base has grown wider and wider with each passing season.

Travers Junior - McNally - Wilmot - Gooch Pearson - Burger (Sidibe) Junho Haks - Lowe- Vidigal
Not a hope in hell of that side playing though! Especially with Travers and Junior being cup tied. Indeed, my mistake but all things being equal that's what I would have gone for. Oooops

Couldn't watch tonight and didn't expect to get anything out of it so can't comment on how we played but subs looked late, was it just more of the same or were there sparks of life.

Just back as live in SW.
Played ok first half but still slow to move the ball forward and final ball was poor. Same old same old second half and soon as we concede we look like conceding 3/4.
Wesley was so bad I watched him not even jump for a header near me. Lowe did more in his brief spell than most the front 3. Thought Leris, Wes, Rose all poor.
Positives was Lowe, Gooch played well again. We have some big issues in CM that won’t get addressed until a window or two.
Big game Saturday for Neil who is under pressure

Not getting a shot on target, whatever the level, is bloody horrific. Wesley is just not good enough. Quite worrying signs tbh. Wesley is not the aggressive goalscorer we need. A poor signing. we didn’t sign him to be a goal scorer though did we , he’s a target man and others should be up there supporting him but they’re not , just shit management

You’re right it would completely alienate a large section of our fan base. Is it somehow more your club than ours? He’d take a team that can’t score goals and make it score even less.

He’s not a striker (like Ric), he’s not a target man (like Mama), he’s not a Duracell bunny (like SJW). If it wasn’t for injuries surely he wouldn’t be in the team.

We cheered them off at half time after 45 minutes where we were just the better side with the better chances. I know they brought on two decent prem players second half but we were left chasing shadows all half and the usual frailties showed with the two goals. Conditions weren’t great in the high wind but I hoped it would favour us. Agree with the Wesley comments, for someone built like Sonny Liston he just doesn’t punch his weight or show any promise.

One mistake after another on and off the pitch for 5 years and counting. Shocking waste of money and supporters time

The saddest thing for me is that I didn’t look at the score until this morning. I am on holiday in Greece (2 hours in front) but in brighter times I’d have stayed up all night to get the Stoke score or scoured the local area for a taverna showing the game or at least found some godforsaken way of getting a radio commentary. . . . anything! These days I just can’t be arsed! From a Season Ticket holder of close on 50 years.
