Paul Barnes 1992 away at Birmingham. A goal that triggered off a riot. Vividly remember the few seconds delay before the ref’ pointed to the centre spot. My all time fav’.

The Vale one still looks amazing, I was only 13 and was swept off my feet towards the front. You just can't beat the terraces for a good old mental. The Man United league cup game was another when Stein scored the 2nd in the home leg.

The Villa one for me as our first Prem win.
Games v Vale don't come anywhere near beating a Prem side for me. Just another game on par with beating dozens of other sides. Hardly a massive achievement as say beating Spurs which was another great one.
Cardiff in the play offs a massive one of course, can't see that one above but the relevance of it of course and the fact we were dead at buried it seemed.

I got back from the USA the day before the 0-2 and got tickets at Vale park. Was a few lads interrogating the crowd to flush out Stoke fans. I was behind Gleghorn's header. When Stein scored was a bit of an exodus as Stoke fans ran to the away end stand. A huge Stoke lad stood up cheering and two Vale fans went for him, bad idea. I don't think either of them woke up before the end of the game. He was escorted down the touchline to the away fans

Besiktas - away Having spent most of the day on the Effes, and being completely in love with RF10, my celebration when he scored was memorable.
It resulted in no skin on my shins and several armed Police telling our small group to calm down.
They laughed and waved at us when Besiktas scored the 1st, then the 2nd goal, and they were beside themselves when the 3rd went in!

I think Shamrock were playing the same night on the cup so was hard to find a TV to watch it. i went over a few rows of seats when we took the lead v Bolton at Wembley . There was an Irish club near to Wembley that weren't letting anyone in. My Dad had a few words with a lad on the door and we were all waved in. Nice and cheap as well. We were all a bit worse for wear at kick off. Wasn't until sobered up you suddenly realise the extent of the injuries

It was carnage on that away end wasn’t it He lobbed the keeper and it bounced up onto the crossbar just 30 seconds later for what would have been a second and two in a minute …..that would of been unbelievable had that gone in

Don’t think I’ve ever celebrated a goal as much as that penalty miss ! Mass hysteria even in the Butler St Paddock 🙂

Villa away 2-2, Villa in the top 4/5 at that time, Shawcross scored what Villa fans deemed to be a consolation goal by their ironic cheers, just for the ball to fall to Sidebe who attempts the worst volley ive ever seen, just for Whelan to slam it straight in the bottom corner, distinct memories of the away end shaking and staying behind in the ground watching the goals on the big screen, some team and some time to be a Stoke City fan

We had a low ceiling fan and ouch ...my hand when leaped off the sofa. Seriously hurt

I know I am going back some time and the memory is fading, I just remember Beeston slamming in a late winner in front of the Boothen against Newcastle and as a young lad just getting completely lost in a 20 metre surge of limbs and screams. I don't count all seater stadia mentals, they don't count!!

Tony Kelly's late equaliser at Anfield in a 2-2 draw.
It would've been for Graham Shaw's winner in a 1-0 win over them in the FA Cup back in '88 if he buried that one on one that he had.

Watch it again, on YouTube somewhere, no where as easy as your memory tells you it was I've just watched it again. Good positioning by Mike Hooper. A chip could've been on if the ball bounced true instead of dying on the pitch. I had him down as being in the 18 yard box taking a few more touches before being saved. I was only a 10 year old though. He still should've done better. They were winning everything for years at the time.
