6 shots against Millwall and 6 shots again today.
0 on target.
Does he close his eyes before striking the ball?

Never really got a sniff today and looked increasingly frustrated against a very well drilled defense. Still not understanding the vitriol that he incites on here though, and think he’s more than capable of hitting 15-20 goals in this side over the season. No chance He will get 10 or so if he plays regular He has far too many games like today If he didn't then he would hit 15-20 Very frustrating player

Would really love to hear everyone else's opinions on him. We had Ricardo fuller who reserved his energy to create moments of magic. This lad does the exact same but does absolutely nothing to our team. He scored against Rotherham midweek but we won't see that again for another 10 games. Shouldn't be anywhere near the first team..... Won't see what again for another 10 games?,a goal? Anything! The lad thinks he's better than what he actually is.

Might be controversial but I rate him. He’s a game changer when he’s on it, but he’s inconsistent. If he wasn’t he wouldn’t be playing for us.
He looks garbage when he’s up against teams that sit back and defend deep as he thrives on space in behind. Don’t think playing on the left suits him and I think our set up today was poor from the manager.
We should stick with him, quality player

In the box he is OK, but his general play is poor. Wanders about misplacing passes most of the time. Should be just a sub. I know goalscoring is a problem but his overall play doesn't warrant him as a starter.

The problem is that he doesn't want to play for us , he wants to leave on a bosman free at the end of the season and bag a big signing on fee

Today we moved the ball WAY too slowly for either Campbell or Lleris to make an impression, so they had no real impact in the game.
Preston sat in deep and Campbell needs space when he plays on the left, so again playing slow passes didnt help, especially receiving it deep against their right wing back.
Today showed more about how we don't understand to get the best out of each player than players playing poorly.

Not a fan, he's a league 1 player at best, he missed a sitter today and struck thin air from a good cross.
There is a reason no-one come in for him this last window

He can’t play on the left wing and shouldn’t be taking our free kicks moving forward.
That header was poor but he reacted quicker than anyone else to it and those little sparks show something. Much better with Vidigal on the pitch because everything doesn’t have to go through him.

The problem with Campbell is he is too inconsistent, and frankly, downright lazy. This will become more and more apparent the more hard working and mobile players are placed around him. Given our slow coach teams we've had for years it has not been as apparent as it will be going forward.
Putting it mildly, he needs to up his game.

He is very erractic.
There are moments when he looks like the real deal and there are moments where he looks average at best.
We know that he definitely has goals in him. I guess the question is whether he contributes enough through the rest of his game.
There is a lot of competition for places now. He will either step up and cement a place in the team or dissappear into obscurity.
It is a big season for him.

He was majorly shite today. I personally would've kept Leris on and taken Campbell off. Just seemed so... negative? Ambling, waiting for the ball to feet, no real drive or desire, couldn't cross for toffee. Just his entire game today fell so flat. He certainly wouldn't be in my starting XI after the break. I thought Leris was very poor aswell. Set pieces weren’t great, fell over the ball when we had a decent opportunity, also lacked pace when he looked to be through on goal. Campbell does seem to be treated differently to others. Like I say mate, that's what I thought personally but I respect if your view of things was different. I'm not trying to rag on Campbell for the fuck of it, it's just what I would've done.

Very few good balls through to him today but I don’t think he was any worse than Leris You can read him like an open book, one trick pony and that trick comes when he's on the right side. He's a poacher alongside a big number 9 or nothing for me. Gutted today I thought we were going to batter them, if there is one team we should know all about it's PNE.

Does he get this much criticism because of the lofty expectations we have/had of him?
We’ve had much worse than him over the years that haven’t received the level of criticism aimed at him.
Even if he was moved from a guaranteed starter to a rotation player for example, he feels…picked on? Gayle didn’t get this much criticism last season for example - was that because he ran around more and therefore it was more acceptable to be bereft of quality? It’d be good to understand what the train of thought is.
Even Bonham for example, universally accepted as not good enough to start, has had less abuse on here than Ty has. He’s not reached the heights that he could have, true. Is that a reason to lay into him weekly? I don’t think it is.

Not sure any of them come out of it with any credit (bar Gooch and Bae). So I suppose my point was that it always seems the easy option to single out Campbell, especially when he was not alone in a disappointing performance.

Tyrese Campbell is a finisher but is all round game today was dreadful He lacks desire He lacks heart/passion And most of all he lacks Stamina There were times today in the 2nd half he was blowing out of his arse and my mate also commented on this Like a few have said he’s very very inconsistent and at times downright lazy Would I give a new contract?debateable for me but I doubt very much he’ll get one and especially now his best buddies have gone

Signed up to the good ship Stoke city ... vidigal, junho , jojic ,Leris , tezgel, Loewe , Mmaee
Leaving at the end of the season, on a bosman free ( bag himself a nice signing on fee but no return for Stoke ) ,Campbell
Leave him out of the match squad and play players who want to play for us . He is not exactly going to be missed.
If he gets so bored and worried about who is going to want him, when he hasn't played for a year...then fine ...he can go in January for a modest fee. At least that way we get a couple of million, instead of nowt .
