Anyone who is due to start the weekend after stays at home and trains.

What a load of wank. Feels like forever since we’ve had a really decent exciting cup tie to look forward to

Suppose Bournemouth will put out a weakened side but then so will we We put out our big guns against Rovrum. No reason to think they won't play against Bournie, who will quite likely hold some of their first teamers like Billing and Solanke on the bench.

Annoying that Vale got Sutton at home, they will be in the last 16, we'll never hear the last of it.

"Phew, thank God for drawing the worst Premier League side who are certain to beat us, several hundred miles away, on a weeknight.
Instead we might have drawn Vale (who are certain to win their tie and now progress past us)
This is much better. I'm happy with this. I'm glad we didn't have to risk playing a game of football against the Vale in case they won. Oh and that someone might have got too excited and blown a raspberry.
Bournemouth away is much better, phew."

Don't get the negativity. We can beat them easily - place in the last 16 coming up.

Only Man City seem to take it seriously Well you make a point Maybe change the rules to every team has to play against the closest team (distance) to them, no one has to travel far every game will have a meaning,I’m sure the police won’t like this, but would be a big boast for the cup a lot more money put in because of increased interest.

Only my opinion but I wish both the fa and carabo cup had a rule in place that up until the quarter final stage, any Premier league team has to play their fixture away from home against any lower league team. whether they were drawn out of the hat at home it automatically switches that they play that tie away from home.
Would bring a lot more interest making ties more evenly balanced. and bump up the gate receipts of clubs who need it the most.

Bmouth away. We can absolutely win this and go through to the next round.
Stoke have been good at home and pretty good away, but not that good against Ipswich. But I'm hopeful.

Only Man City seem to take it seriously I would have thought Doncaster fans were looking forward to their game v Everton last night, a good chance of winning it, which they gave it a good go.

They might rest a few players, in which case an away win isn't beyond the realms of possibility.
It is a shit draw though.

True but I don't think the odd game every season justifies the other games where the crowd numbers constantly show that fans in general give the competition a wide berth and have been doing so for 20 odd years

It’s not the most exciting of draws and may end out involvement but it’s the perfect opportunity to say to our largely first team that these are the teams we need to be beating next year. As a learning curve for the team it’s more valuable than beating a Lincoln and losing to a top 6 team in 4th round That said we should go largely full strength

It's the sort of draw , that makes me think that this round, should be divided north and south as well.
A mid week trip to Bournemouth makes no sense for either our players or our fans .
It's the sort of draw that is basically begging the away team , to send their youth team and see if any swim , rather than sink ?
