I searched, but ... didn't find any thread about it, so here it is - a thread about the qualification to the Euro 2024 Men Championship.
England have four games already and are #1, in the lead, in the Group C, which includes for instance Italy.
Sweden is in Group F but have started bad. Quite frankly, I think we have to win the rest of the games. We were outplayed by Belgium even though we were at home. It was the worst game I've seen us play ever I think! For a start we have to beat Estland away next Saturday, in twelve days from now.
England play away to Ukraine the same day. Good to win and keep the worst competitors Italy still at the same distance.
⚽🤠⚽

With France weakening (hopefully) and Spain growing as a power again, it feels like this is England’s best shot at silverware. We’ll see.

Germany must be better at home but they lack quality in both boxes France still the team to beat, England probably the next best team Spain... Look good on paper but appear to have gone back to how they were before that golden spell, always a let down Portugal maybe

Estonia-Sweden on Saturday.
Honestly, I can't even be sure we'll win that one nowadays.
Many games coming up. Soon we'll meet Austria as well.

With us and Ukraine to play away, you can see a scenario where Italy have to go through the play offs again. Could they miss a second major tournament on the bounce? After the heartbreak of Euro 2020, I'd love us to beat them at home to consign them to the lottery of play off nogger.

Plus they didn't qualify for last two World Cups but won the Euros in between beeting the home team in the final to not qualify at all would be bizarre I don't think they have tons of quality but they should be qualifying at the very least

It was pretty huge at the time I seem to remember. Bit of national tragedy. Anyway, I'm probably getting a bit carried away as they've only lost one. Still, it's comforting that they might fail. Yes, I'm that pathetic.

Where Re Ukraine playing their home games? Doesn't say on the fixture website? Poland I think. Ah ok 👍 Makes sense Scotland have had a great start. I like to see them go to your aments personally. Tough to call this time around. Had a look at the odds and really don't know who to pick, a bit up for grabs . France were very lucky n Dublin and could easily have been beaten. If England didn't have Southgate would fancy them more, must have a decent shout though. Could be anyone from 7 or 8 teams.

I agree though, I'm now sure there is one clear favourite apart from maybe The Bloody French.

Needed something v France and so unlucky but be good to see some young players coming in. A decent bunch and of course Ferguson. If they increase the number at the WC to 96 teams then there's hope.

Qualifying for USA, Canada and Mexico would be brilliant for, the support you would get would be unreal. I'm hayf Irish mesen, which I fully intend to shamelessly take advantage of over the next 6-8 weeks.

All being well will be in the USA and Canada either way. Is just great to go to no matter which teams you get to see . Being in Genoa in 1990, the night a crowd of female Brazilian fans arrived stands out

Where Re Ukraine playing their home games? Doesn't say on the fixture website? Wroclaw, SW Poland. KO 5pm UK time, 6pm Polish time and 7pm Ukraine time. Should be fairly straight-forward, even considering the drop-outs.

Surreal to see Scotland top of a group with a perfect record. Very...English!
Beat Cyprus and you'd think that's pretty much guaranteed qualification. Excellent work from what is still a pretty limited group of players.

Where Re Ukraine playing their home games? Doesn't say on the fixture website? They are playing in Wroclaw. Its 50 miles away from the Ukranian border and its where 100's of thousands of Ukranians fled too when Putin invaded.

You don't need to put the word "men" at the end mate.

Euro qualifiers 2024. You don't need to put the word "men" at the end mate. I wish sky sports would start doing it actually. I click on so many links expecting to read about men's football and then when I open it up its something I have little to no interest in reading.

They just need to advertise the women's football, cricket or rugby as women's. The men's doesn't need advertising as anything other than its always been. If men started to take netball seriously and play that to a decent standard, I'd expect that to be advertised as men's netball

Then they can say "look how much interest there is" when in reality 75% of the people have been duped into tapping on it.
