Alfie Doughty now there’s a player he’s scored a stunner tonight. Did he get 6 games before people decided he was shit or doesn’t it count because he isn’t foreign. You tool. Classic, you've been found out as a hater and your response is to drag a former player into this. I’ve read this guy’s drivel all day. First thing this morning on the commute, throughout the working day. Had an evening out and cleansed myself of his negativity but sadly I’ve just checked the oatcake before bed and he’s still moaning after a 6-1 win.

Few posters have written him off as being shit, it's actually funny. Why has he been any good? There’s a lot more who’ve slated Laurent and Campbell too so funny they’re all obviously brilliant. Campbell and Laurent have been rightly slated for some of their performances.Tonight both played well.Footballers are only as good as their last game.

It highlights why we need a striker, this injury. You are now down to only Wesley, who has struggled badly in the years since his injury.

Campbell is a striker and probably a better finisher than any striker we are likely to sign.
He’s never played in a positive side at senior level that would play to his strengths if he played up front.
If we can get the ball on the deck and play some football he’a as good a striker option as we could get….maybe.

I completely agree regardless of when or where they came from. I didn’t go last night so have no idea how anyone played but they should all be full of confidence for Saturday. I don’t think there is anything better than a big win at home to get the players and fans buzzing. Rotherham are doing us the world of good this season for a change.

He's already a good finisher, capable of making his own chances. With the type of players we've put in place now...

Like Laurent, much happier against Rotherham's B team than getting a hefty shove in the back and a kicking every time he's goes near the ball , away to Millwall.
I think it is our 3rd goal, the one just after Rotherham's , Mmaee picks the ball up and lays it off tidily to our left ( Campbell?) And the Rotherham defender is standing about a yard behind him watching him! When Wes picked the ball up there v Millwall , he got an immediate shove in the back and kicking and if that didn't look like working after half a second, the Millwall defender went in like a 70s wrestler on World of Sport and threw him to the deck Big Daddy style . And the ref just waved play on, because it's the Den and it's Millwall. Second half ,right in front of the Stoke fans a Millwall player actually grabbed hold of Wes ( who was trying to shield the ball ) and threw him to the floor in the middle of the Millwall penalty box ...ref ..play on ! How can you not notice the force required to throw a massive bloke like Wes to the floor?
I am glad he scored ,but we are not going to go away to Millwall or Ipswich and come across a side defending like Rotherham B .
That said , Dwight Gayle managed to spend his time, never even looking like scoring, in absolute rout of Rotherham B .
So compared to Dwight Gayle, he is harry kane and mark stein rolled in to one .

Going slightly off topic here .
Campbell is a real threat cutting in , onto his left foot.
What AN needs, what the Stoke fans need to see , is Campbell, Laurent and Mmaee going away to Millwall or Ipswich and playing like that .
Not so easy!
If they can play like that away to Millwall, Ipswich etc ...then we are truly in business

We've scored 10 goals in a matter of weeks against a team in the same division. That has to be a positive. It's up to the manager to get the best out of these players away from home by picking a. the best players and b. playing a formation that will get the best out of them. It's clear we're better going forward than going back, Manager needs to be braver away from home. Signs are encouraging.

No answer as to why it’s so inconsistent though they could just as easily be invisible vs Rotherham.

There’s about 3-4 changes from that game and 2-3 of those made it onto the pitch yesterday so the Rotherham manager can have no complaints other than he’s Rotherham manager so obviously he doesn’t have a very good squad anyway. But it’s a Championship team that we’ve spanked twice this season already and it isn’t even September. We were excellent, now we just need to start picking up some points on the road, but I’d always prefer us to win at home anyway.

At a quick glance, they made 7 changes to their starting lineup from their game with Leicester on Saturday. How many of those 7 'should' or would usually be a starter for them, I really don't know. As a comparison, we also made 7 changes from our starting lineup on Saturday.
