Platinum plus wanker 2 What an awful concept that was. I was routing through some old shit the other day and found my application for my True Supporters Card.

Have sent an email as Scouse suggested for our non invitation. We have had ST'S for 30 odd years (some very odd ) .Will let you know. Good news today had phone call from a young man at the Club. Said we had a one year gap season ticket missing.2008/ 2009. I'm not convinced .Anyway we got an invite to the 31st August event.Think he mentioned about 1400 had season tickets for 20 years though I may have misheard him. Any way thanks to Scouse and anybody interested should send off an email to the club..Email to supporters@stokecityfc.com

Tonight is the first instalment of the invitational event that the club are putting on to honour 20+ consecutive year season ticket holders. Anyone on here going, and what do we think the club will have in store for us? Fair play to them for doing this though, I’ve never known them do anything like this in my time supporting Stoke other than maybe the platinum plus packs during the Prem promotion which was a nice touch. Has anyone got a spare ticket for the Supporter event on May 3rd, please?

This is the 51st consecutive year that I have had a season ticket and have heard nothing at all from the Club. My email address on the website is correct. Mine is definitely 50 years this coming season, could be my 51st year as a ST Holder but can’t be 100%. Starting in Boothen Stand and have been in the same seat at the Brit since it opened. Circumstances i.e. email etc same as you

Although I posted I’m not that concerned. I think the recognition of those (20 years + currently) is another feather in the cap of Simon King and his team that demonstrates that they are light years in front of their predecessors in thinking and action in respect of supporter engagement. Long may it continue 👍

Simon King certainly seems to be a get things done and show us how it's gone instead of promise alot and deliver fuck all... He deserves all the plaudits he gets at the moment

Or it might be that this event isn't for those with 20+ consecutive years. I renewed on the day the window was open so that could be the reason? I've got no idea.

IMO The club should be applauded for finally realising the commercial aspect and bonding effect of such events ..sure they’re not everyone’s cup of tea , but I’m sure there plenty who’d want to attend or at least feel just a little bit special or valued . unlike the grand scale end of season events of the past , which were expensive for fans so elitist to a degree and a commercial risk for the club to stage ..these much more low key personal events can be put on much more easily with far less financial risk / outlay for the club having a series of these events should open them up to a wider audience ..again well done to SK & the club

I’d have to set off home for my train when it will be in full swing. You’re welcome to it.

Is this going to happen annually now then. Me and my son have had consecutive tickets for 22 years counting our renewal for next season but seem to have missed the boat. Is it worth contacting them !?

Not sure what the title of tonight's event was, but Simon King spoke very well with Dennis and George providing some nice stories.
I really think we have a bit of a gem in Simon King - looks like someone who's got a grasp of what's needed off the pitch and is delivering.

I've had one since 1997. I've not had any email or invite. Where would I book this?? I've had a season ticket since 1996 but I've screwed myself over with this. About 15 years ago I started buying season tickets in my younger step brother's name for around 3 years to take advantage of the cheaper under 21 price until he turned 21 himself and I reverted back to using my own name. Which means my season ticket record will show a gap of 3 years even though I was actually a season ticket holder and was attending the games . Obviously not going to complain about it, I committed fraud to save a few quid in the end of the day and I'm not going to confess that to the club . Just how the cookie crumbles. It saved me money at a time in my life when I needed the money and I morally justified it because the U21 price tier didn't exist when I was aged 18-21 in the early 2000s. It was just a straight jump from child to adult price after turning 18 so I felt I was 'owed' the discount. But now it's back to bite me in the arse by making me ineligible for this event. Karma I suppose.
