He should be all over this..trophies, champions league football, will not have to do anywhere near as much donkey work as he does now so will score even more goals. Munich is also a lovely city.
He has no ambition to win things if he stays at Spurs imo

The only thing PL players are interested in is ££££££££. So if Bayern aren’t offering more wages than spuds he will stay regardless of trophies etc. You only have to look at the exodus of players to Saudi for eye watering wages…..where are the trophies in Saudi football?

He's turned down an astonishing offer from Spurs to sign a new contract, don't think it's as clear as you're making out. I think Harry Kane is secretly hoping Man Utd make a last ditch approach for him tbh but that won't happen.

If I was him I would turn it down and let Levy have a bit of his own medicine

I'd be all over 2 or 3 years in Germany if I was Kane. It seems fairly obvious that he doesn't want to play for any other Premier League clubs, and other than the two Spanish giants, there is no bigger club in world football. Great country to live and play football in I'd imagine. He'd loved to have stayed in the Premier League and would have easily moved to Citeh or ManU had Levy not messed them about.

His basic is going to be £400k per week at Bayern I'm guessing that for Bayern Munich to go to all this trouble of being locked in talks with Daniel Levy for the past week in London, they have already agreed terms with Kane before arriving in London

How can you agree personal terms if the club haven’t even accepted an offer? I don’t blame Levy. It’s in his best interest to get as much as he can. Kane has already spat his dummy out before when denied a transfer. He got back into it and started scoring again. Happens routinely Must happen if there is an acknowledgment by the selling club isn’t far off the evaluation and they give permission. Otherwise, its poaching.

What Munich are going to give him was agreed a 2 to 3 weeks ago for sure. Obviously the fee's been agreed today. I'm guessing that now this shit is real for Kane, he's now got a decision to make. He's probably used this with Munich to try and force a move to another Premier League club. Utd should have just gone for him and the only other club that I can see being a possibility is Chelsea because of Poch

Did he ask for a transfer? If not he'll pick up quite a wedge in addition to £400 per week and probably loads of other sponsorship deals. He might struggle with the language though - then in 2/3 years he will be ripe for Saudi or USA

I opened this thread thinking our transfer kitty could stretch to Harry Kane now Brown has signed for Barcelona for £150M.

Winning the Bundesliga is definitely a step down from the Premier League... but it's still a Top 5 domestic league trophy and if they got the UCL it would be the crowning glory to his fantastic career. They have every chance of doing so, cos Bayern weren't the same last season without Lewandowski and Kane is virtually a like-for-like replacement. Shame he didn't go to United, but Levy would have got even more relentless stick from the fans if he sold to a domestic rival. They have that Højlund chap now, though I believe he's crocked for the start of the season.

And surely this is the reason for the move. If he's gone to his agent and said he wants to win things surely Munich are top of the list. PSG lost the title in 20/21 and only won the title last year by a point. The Germans really know how to keep things exciting with Munich winning every Bundesliga title since 2011.

You would’ve thought that the deal will have been done at the time they announced the bid was accepted. But maybe there was never any will to actually move

For the record I think it's a decent move for him, he'll get a 5 year contract with an amazing wage, almost guaranteed silverware and Munich are crying out for a striker like him up top. It'll be interesting to see how he performs outside of the Premier League but I don't think he will fail in Germany.

I agree 100% with this. He should have told Bayern Munich that it was no before all of the talks and even this week when the talks got heavy. Someone, like Manchester United, have must of come in today and said we will sign you on pre-contract in January

Pre-contracts only work from overseas clubs (happy to be corrected on this though).

That's not true. Some/Many players are money motivated, but pretty every one of them play for the love of the game, the riches that come with it are a massive bonus. I'd wager that the vast majority of them would still be playing football if they earned £500 a week for it.
