what a day!... backed us to win 4-1 at 25-1 and KJH to score anytime singles and a double - 100-1 then to round it off that last minute corner landed stoke to score in each half and have over 3.5 corners in each half at 14-1. Optimism pays off for once Right, you're the official tipster on match days from hereon in! I got this bit wrong... hit the crossbar... shame the 48th minute 3rd goal didn't count as second half Stoke 2+ Goals in Each Half; Stoke 3+ Corners in Each Half & Rotherham 2+ Cards in Each Half.... 300-1!

I've got a broken hand and I think I might have just re-broken it after all that clapping ☺️ Yeah, it's the clapping that broke it. We believe you. 🍆💦 How can anyone not have a vigorous wank after that performance! In all seriousness, not being able to wank at the moment is truly devastating and not a good place to be. It just doesn't work with the left hand 🥺🥺

I've got to be up for work at 4am tomorrow, I'm watching it now and quite frankly it's a totally crap format with some annoying woman interviewing anything that moves at Plymouth. Useless. Can't hang around any longer.

i dont want to piss on anyones chips,,,yes its a great start to the season and miles better than the recent seasons results of scrapeing a turgid draw or narrow loss away, its very encouraging and it seems like the manager is doing a bit of a waddo perhaps?,,,,but for me our best opening day of the season was beating spurs who had just won the somewhat odd titled european cup winners cup!!...we beat em 2-1 and they were a team of proper stars, white, dyson, baker, blanchflower, jones ,mackay(what a career he had} and a bloke named greaves!,,,and they all signed autographs after the match outside the old boothen stand regardless of being humbled by stoke.oh and we beat villa away on the following wednesday,,,,but it wasnt plain sailing after that.

Well that was rather a long time ago. I could equally say let’s not get carried away because look how bad we were in the holocaust season. This is our best opening game in ages and probably the best some of our fans, who aren’t old farts like us, can remember. I say let’s live in the moment. We could lose the next six games but THIS one was fantastic! Also, Vale lost 7-0. Not that that’s relevant, obviously.

The GoodI have been watching Stoke since 1961 and that is the first time I have seen us start a season by scoring 4. (Never too old to see something new!) It was great to see us trying to move the ball around a lot quicker and with a lot more off the ball movement. My Wolves supporting mates will be crying in their beer tomorrow when we talk about Hoever scoring yet another stunning goal. Daniel Johnson looked like the player I remembered playing like that for Preston against us. I thought Vidigal looked very timid and lightweight, until the fullback decided to leave one on him, which rather than putting him off as designed, seemed to really fire him up. I am sure we will still take a few weeks to fully get in our stride and I like the look of what I saw. Over the summer I managed to get my Mum a place in the disabled area just in front of where we sit. (At 86 her mobility is getting a bit iffy). She is happy about her new view, I don't have to worry about her being knocked over and those who sit near her old seat in Block 21 don't have to hold their breath anymore as they see her struggling up the steps in case she falls back down. Win win all round! The Sad
Unfortunately over the summer one of the original season ticketholders in my row died. There are now only about 4 or 5 of us who have had seats there since the first season left. The OtherThe videos before the game were great, but, bloody hell, when will the club realise that turning the volume of the PA up to 11 doesn't make it easier to hear, it just makes it too loud. I thought my ears were going to start bleeding at one time! The halftime announcer reading out the Vale score. Who cares? Gloating about the misfortunes of some nonentity football club is small time. Stop doing it! The BonusThere has been a bloke in Row 17/18 Block 21 who has spent the last 15 years or so hurling constant abuse at Whelan, Wilmot, Baker (and a few others) whether they have been involved in what he is complaining about or not and caused so many arguments that the stewards have been called a couple of times. He wasn't there yesterday and it was wonderful!

The Bonus, suspect you might be premature as, remarkably, Jordan Thompson attracted the fellow’s ire for passing it backwards twice when he came on.

Very pleased with the win and general performances. Must point out that we gave a very poor goal away and a slightly better opposition would have given us a more difficult second half. Must be better in defence!

I didn't realise just how good a seat it was until I was watching the highlights today and saw her sitting there in splendid isolation. It occurred to me this afternoon that despite having sat amongst a group of fellow long term (and long suffering) fans for 25 years and talked to them before during and after hundreds of games, I only know the name of the gent I have been going to the match with for 60+ years (and my Mum of course ). Mind you I have probably now reached the age where if people did tell me their names I wouldn't remember them. I must have been on too many "happy pills" with all the goals to notice"Mr Angry" yesterday, or we didn't have very many of those deathly quiet passages of play which are his favourite times to launch a barrage.

Colours other than pink and blue as well.
