I've said from the off he's already a better right back than Hoever, he needs to play in his natural position.

I thought he was comfortably the best player on the pitch.

Weβve obviously brought him in now to give him a transitional year with the view of him being our permanent replacement for Hoever when he goes. Itβs nice planning. However with the amount of injuries it looks like heβs going to stake a claim for a regular spot from Saturday.
He looks a great prospect and a good signing. I do hope we donβt build him up too much though and then start knocking him down when he inevitably makes a few mistakes. The lad looks ready for sure but itβs a big step up from league 2 and heβs still young and raw. Looking forward to seeing him regularly for us.

Heβs a powerhouse and is ready to play regularly.
Simple as that really!

Hoever was our main attacking threat first half and also our main defensive liability

Is this thread to take the normal course of most of our new signings?
First few games full of positivity and the second coming of Ashley Cole before descending into being absolutely gash and looks like a competition winner etc.
Did well last night in three positions and looks a natural defender but had very little to deal with down their right hand side. All their threat and pace came from Sulemana on the left. Armstrong on the right isn't really a wide forward.
Hoever definitely struggled against Sulemana but so will a lot of fullbacks in this league. Need to see Tchamadeu up against a player of that quality before we know how good he can be.
I made the same mistake the first time watching Burger (who I still believe will become a very good player) but I've learnt my lesson and I'll keep my powder dry before I go over the top with praise.

I thought he was comfortably the best player on the pitch. The kid looks decent! He is going to be thrust into the limelight over the next few weeks with all of these injuries.

Also think heβs captain material in time.
Grabs the bull by the horns and he doesnβt seem the passenger type.
For what we paid itβs great business but heβs done great to jump 2 leagues and look good not just comfortable
Bravo lad

Only real positive from that first half. Strong in the tackle, positions himself well and created the best chance going forward.
With his gait reminds me of a young and more mobile BMI.

He's got everything in his locker to be a premier league player in a couple of years, best bit of transfer business of the summer alongside Vidigal.

Said he's an athlete and a half, I change that. He's 2x the athlete I thought he was. Making the rest of em' look overpaid underconfident and poor besides Bae and Travers. This lad deserves the start each week he's a good one.

Absolutely shite, way too slow and not strong enough in the tackle. No premier league teams should be looking at him at all π Only joking of course, if he carries on like this we'll be lucky to keep him past January. The lad is mustard.

Luckily you can only be registered to two teams in a season so we should be ok til the summer.
