What a joke this is as well😳🙄 What a stupid question. It’s too small to host many Championship league games let alone a European final.

Yes, it's way too small. Can you imagine how dangerous that's gonna be? Inside packed with 20,000 while 3 times that are stuck outside trying to sneak in, raise hell fight the other fans etc. Just don't tear up Prague you idiots.

How on earth was a stadium as small as that ever in the running to hold a cup final????
Madness.

Good to see Jill Gascoigne back on the telly. Or is it Mick Robertson off Magpie? Hmmm...never seen Mick and Jill together - I wonder...?

May it be possible some fans of either Slavia or other based Prague teams may think of attending this game for a scrap maybe.

What a joke this is as well😳🙄 Been that stadium, nice stadium in a pretty nice area of Prague (urban, but well looked after). It's going to be chronically small for a team that regularly has 50K plus home attendances! There may be trouble ahead...

What a joke this is as well😳🙄 What a stupid question. It’s too small to host many Championship league games let alone a European final. Indeed. Or to host a final between two Championship sides. Let's assume we were in the Europa Conference Final. (I know, I know...). I imagine we would easily sell 10-15,000 tickets if it were somewhere as accessible and beautiful as Prague. Quite possibly more. Lots of Championship clubs could. West Ham would double that. And so would Inter. Bonkers.

When it all goes pear shaped at the final eufa will say there was nothing they could do. Well here's a suggestion, pay the club in Prague the money they would have earned and change to a bigger venue. The extra revenue will compensate eufa, less chance of problems. Simple really.

The European conference league in only its 2nd year ..last year the final Roma v Feyenoord attendance was 19,,597 at the Arena Kombëtare , Albania in 21, 690 capacity stadium
Four bids were placed to hold the 1st final ..Albania 21,690 , France ( st Etienne 41,900) Greece ( Heraklion 26,200 ) and North Macedonia ( Skopje 33400 )
The problem is whilst in theory it’s very much UEFA’s smallest competition aimed at giving smaller clubs / countries access to a decent run in Europe and giving those countries ( stadiums ) who wouldn’t be able to hold the final the Champions league which has become a closed shop .. and a place in the following years Europa league , that in reality come the later stages and particularly the business end it’s still highly likely that at least one if not both the finalists will be well known established major clubs , with large support.
Not sure how the bidding process to hold the final works ..ie presumably the bigger stadiums are dissuaded from bidding as if they do and were successful it would count against them or barr them from holding one of the major finals ( Champions league / Europa ) so by default they or their FA don’t bid
Once again it’s UEFA ‘trying’ to be inclusive for all ..by ignoring what happens in the real world ..the solution is simple if it’s aimed at growing the smaller nations you barr the bigger ones

Lovely to see the little chav fuckers being put in their place, by a pair of proper grown-ups. Alkmaar's ultras just went down in many people's estimations. Muppets. Yep they’re the laughing Stock of the Dutch league right now in the ‘hard fans’ circles…… Fair play to the 2 hammers fans

I always thought the Dutch were a more friendly bunch. I’d imagine that’ll be a game or two behind closed doors. Massive reputation for hooliganism.

West Ham duo couldn’t of picked a better place to make a stand ,got the high ground and with it been narrow it was always two on two,,had it been on open ground probably a different outcome, fair play to them though didn’t look the fittest of guys and would eventually run out of steam, looked like men against boys
