There wasn’t many in the away end Dave but it would of been carnage had somebody got a touch to it Inching home just by Oldham 😊 Appreciate that for some it’s unaffordable but it would be lovely to see a decent crowd on Saturday, at the very least those season ticket holders choosing to stay away could turn up and get behind the team, they deserve the backing. Good times and bad and all that……..

It’s the best football we’ve played since that first half-season under MON. It’s miles better than that. This team would score 4 or 5 against that team.

I'm Roger Everyone,
And I am enjoying watching Stoke now.
AN has got things going at long last.
My only concerns are the goalkeeper.
And so many of the players are on loan.
Things are looking up and hopefully they will continue that way 🙂

Hopefully this isn’t another false dawn.
Even if we can’t get Pearson it’s patently obvious that’s he’s the type we’ve needed for so long. If he’s a no go then a similar player and we should be at least contender next season.
It also looks like Neal has identified and is getting to grips with some of our big issues:
1. Getting players fit and competing (Campbell, Laurent, Fox, Smallbone)
2. Figuring a system that gets the best out of our players.
3. Identifying areas we badly needed upgrades in and getting the right players in (Goalkeeper, holding/ball playing midfielder)
4. Putting chances away. Work to do but 8 goals in 3 games against decent sides is not to be sniffed at.
5. Getting the crowd onside. A consequence of all the above but also maybe a response to the honest no-nonsense approach of a manager who seems to know his shit.

Another one here who is happy with the team getting stuck in last night, going toe to toe and taking it to Boro.......
Which brings me to another point....... did anyone else think they were a bunch of snidy fuckers with elbows and late challenges all over the park last night...?
Or was it just me....?

Nothing against OP but I’m sick of the threads that are either:
- “I’m so apathetic” after a few losses OR - “The passion is back” after a few good performances
It reminds me of a lot of Man Utd fans I know and how they seem to approach following their club.

Neil sounds massively confident in his post-game interviews www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0f8s7p1"I've been saying this for weeks now. We fancy ourselves against anybody in the division, because on our day we're as good as anyone in the division" "I can see where we're going. For me it's really quite clear and I've been doing this a long time now. I just hope other people can start to see it"

Absolutely no mention of your pathetic vendetta against the manager. I’m quite liking the fact that he’s ditched his stupid back 3 and his propensity to chop and change for no good reason. Consistent selection, a back 4 and going toe to toe with the opposition, whoever that may be, will always find favour from me. Brighton was a turning point for me even in defeat. I’m more than happy if he can continue to prove my fears about his suitability for our club were very Ill-founded. When it’s shit I’ll say it’s shit. When it’s good I’ll say it’s good. More than anything I just want to enjoy games. I really enjoyed that tonight. Interestingly I don’t recall you jumping to his defence How about his recruitment? Signed 4 out of 5 duds you said

Signed 4 out of 5 duds you said I clarified the comment as being in relation to being injured. I’ve been saying how good Sterling is all season and commented in that instance that Tuenzebe was class. Edit - and the one I was saying wasn’t a dud was the keeper (the only one fit at the time) is now the dud and out for the season 🤦♂️

At the time only 2 were injured and classifying Sarkic as a dud is daft, he has clearly added value. You leapt to judge way too early without acknowledging Neil’s strategy - to spend the minimum needed to stay up. Hence players missing a few games was a price worth paying. It was the best window since relegation as a minimum and add in Sterling ( not one of your five) and the evidence is overwhelming that Neil can pick a player

Only the keeper was contributing, we were playing terribly and showing zero signs of what we have produced in the last 3 games. Nothing gibberish about it. That was the state of play at the time following another tame home defeat. The keeper is obviously not a dud. It was a self deprecating comment.

Isn't "sucking at the enjoyment teat" 😂😂😂😂😂 the whole fucking point of supporting a club regardless of whether you like the manager, players, owners, etc?
Fill your gob while you can, it never lasts!
Obviously when the milk dries up you'll cry like, well a baby, when the milk dries up! 😂👶🍼

In a ten game form table, we’re 6th, with the 3rd best attack, joint 4th best defence and 3rd best GD. Our 3 defeats in that time have all been 1-0. He’s definitely turned the oil tanker, let’s hope we can finish the season in similar form and have a good summer of recruitment.
