Akpom looks good, we'd have to outscore them.
For the first time in fucking ages, we actually look capable of outscoring a team though!

That's the thing now that's got me excited. You know they could score two but there's every chance we could score three and beat them. Can see a fair few goals in this one. Having said all of that I'd be more than happy with a point there and then follow that up with another home win against Norwich as we really need to make our ground a fortress if we are to be up there next season.

Need Alex and Wilmot if fit on Tuesday. Jags and Fox and we lose. We're alternating between Jags and Alex to get Alex fit and to make sure Jags get enough rest at his age. If Wilmot is fit I imagine he'll play alongside Jags, if not it'll definitely be Jags/Fox. And I think they'll be fine as long as Sterling and Hoever play fullbacks. And Pearson is at DM of course.

As someone said on Twitter, it seems like destiny that Boro will catch Sheff U.
I think they’ll win this one, but hoping we give them a good game.

When was the last time we won 3 on the trot? November 2021 - Blackpool and Luton away followed by Posh at home.

We need to make sure we get Campbell isolated one v one against Smith as much as possible.

Very tough game and I’ll be delighted if we get anything out of it. With that said, Boro will know this is no walkover after our recent improvement, and if we manage to win this one, people will start to take notice. We’re more than capable of causing an upset if we maintain the level we’ve seen in the last few weeks.

Only thing that’s bothering me about this game is 20 goal Chuba Akpom against Bonham. Any player on Bonham if he gets it on target.

Win this and we would seriously have to wonder if we could sneak into the play offs. Who would have thought? Obviously will be a very tough game If we win ALL the remaining games we might have a small chance.

Make Laurent captain again. Unless I’m mistaken we haven’t lost yet with him wearing the armband.

Blackburn showed us up when they used two strikers in Brereton and Gallagher to barge and bully their way for two quick goals in the last quarter. Blackburn left it late, but when they started playing long high balls in our penalty box to Brereton and Gallagher ... we struggled. What really infuriates me, is seeing AN put on that bloody useless Clucas. Instead of closing down the game, we suddenly became vulnerable. Especially when Clucas came on ... and did freaking' nothing. It scares me to even contemplate Clucas and Powell being in the squad/bench to play Middlesborough.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-live-middlesbrough-news-8244280One of Jagielka or Wilmot will be back, one will be touch and go. Nick Powell "needs a good couple of weeks of training" to get back available. "Bersant Celina was really quite ill, properly ill, for more than a week, getting spikes in his temperature. Due to the games we've playing we've opted for other loan lads and the other lads have done great. If he wasn't a loan he would certainly be in the squad and getting minutes but the other loans are starting."

No way we can do playoffs, even Man City would be hard pushed from our position. When you consider the points we should have got in the last few months (Blackpool, Rotherham and Preston), it’s such a shame as now we have finally started to function. Six points in those games would have given us a realistic chance. Top ten would be great and hope to get Pearson (a must), sterling and hopefully a couple of others for next season.

Obviously will be a very tough game We would need to win this and 8 out of the next 9 to have a chance of the top six. It would be sneaking in more riding a steamroller through the division winning 11 out of our last 12 games

Middlesborough are at home and judging by recent results are an excellent hot in form team with a potentially exceptional young Manager. And its likely to be a cold dismal Tuesday night on Teeside, and that's just the weather.
We're doomed.

Our best hope is that they are cocky. Unfortunately they will have seen how we burst Sunderland and Blackburn's bubbles and will respect us accordingly. I'd take a point right now.
