And if one of them is injured and we don't have the right to recall the other what then? We can develop both at the same time by "swopping seats". One plays, the other comes off the bench for the last 20-30 minutes. Then when the one is injured, the other is settled within the team that knows how to play him, because he's trained and played with them. What we have to stop doing is playing forwards who are not scoring goals for us. That pretty much rules out all our strikers right now. Exactly

Totally agree, he needs a few years development yet. The clamour on here for him to be first choice reminds me of the clamour for delap Jr, he was nowhere near ready when on loan for us and 2 loan spells later he's only just now starting to find his feet in the Championship. Lowe is similar he needs a couple of years and loan spells yet to develop mentally, physically, to the demands of first team football. Isn't the clamour because he's genuinely a better option than Wesley and Gayle though? I think most can see he needs a loan. But there's also the real need for him or Tezgel to play instead of both of the two mentioned above. Not convinced about that. I think their experience just about gives them the edge. Sometimes Lowe comes on and runs about enthusiastically but doesn't actually get to touch the ball. I think it was v Brighton he came on and didn't get on the ball once but then later Sidibe came on and immediately got into positions where he could and did get passes to him. I think young Sidibe might be our most football intelligent young player. As for Lowe he has potential but he carries no more threat on the field than Wesley or Gayle.

He's bound to see a lot of the ball there, especially with the way Stoke now is set up. The way Stoke play don't offer the striker much of the ball, whether you're oldie Gayle or teenaged Lowe. You can but hope it will change, if midfielders see a mobile forward up there. Just don't hold your breath on it.

Can't believe how incredibly grounded he is, his parents have done a great job! He must be an absolute dream to coach, probably improves every minute because he gives you the impression he listens. Can see with more games he's going to get more confident on the pitch which will lead to even better performances, which for a young striker is great to see.
