That's what you get when the fans are up for it from the off. Time for some of you to take a long hard look in the mirror. It’s almost as if the fans respond to what’s on the pitch. What a wank post. You didn't go then.... The fans were signing before the game started. What a wank poster.

I don’t know if it’s the score line making me gooey. However, this has been one hell of a performance. Where has it been hiding? Let’s hope it’s the ‘turning point’ we’ve been waiting for. New Keeper DM ST And we should have enough to make a charge for top half with something to build on. Need a right wing back and a left footed, mobile centre half as well if the goal is to win enough to challenge for playoffs next year. They can come in the summer. I also think AN is going for a back for, Sterling + wilmot is enough to see us though. A CB replacement for Souttar who is an upgrade on fox would be welcomed too.

Reading were wank, but we've seen numerous wank sides down here over time, and failed to put them away.
That was a welcome & commanding performance. When some of us least expected it, perhaps.
Well done lads 👊👊

Am sorry, but a win like this now? Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" comes to mind. Seriously.

Onwards and upwards.

Reading is my (near) local team so absolutely desperate to get a win. So I'm pulling out all the stops for this one: I've dug my ancient lucky Y-fronts from the bottom of the laundry basket, I'm wearing what's left of my lucky Stoke shirt, and I've bought in a crate of my lucky beer. Not sure what else I can give.... I am totally taking full credit for that win. The pants got us off to a flyer, the shirt influenced the deflection for the second, and the ale finished the job.

Nice to see Gayle credited with that goal. He was ridiculously unlucky earlier in the season not to score and, footballing gods being what they are, no surprise that the spawniest of efforts should be his first.
Hope it's the start of a run now.

Front two closing defenders down, midfield three keeping their shape, defenders keeping it simple, bob’s yer uncle, three points in the bag & Gavin Ward is still a useless twat..

I wasn’t looking forward to today , especially freezing my lilies off and expecting that team to get turned over. I was really surprised with our efforts and we looked decent for most of the game- when you see some of the absolute shit that is in this league ( Reading being part of it), it shows just how much the Board and various managers have allowed us to decline. Still, perhaps this may signal the beginning of a turn around. Regarding the atmosphere- despite what BG Green would have people believe, the crowd really only got up for it when we were 2-0 up and it became obvious that Reading didn’t have 2 goals in them. In between times there was plenty of quiet times from the crowd. Still, each to their own! Hopefully another couple of wins over the next home games can give us some more momentum.

While I don’t agree with booing, I don’t believe that fans not going wild for crap football is a contributing factor to our downfall. That our gates are so high vs the standard of the games is testament to good support. If players need motivation they should look at their pay cheques and consider that they only have short “careers”. Play well or get another job after football.
