Quit playing Brown out of position. (from like, literally everybody here on the Oatcake, beings from my home planet, common sense, common decency and common courtesy...FFS)
My favorite new hate, replacing Diving at #1 on the local Pissed Off charts this week... The back-pass to the keeper.
Thank you for victimizing Rotherham today!!
It makes a nice change. I'll take it and fine, I've paid the gypsy lady, so there's another box ticked. Oh crap, I gotta rate AN.
5. Resilience shown. But it makes you think, "Yeah, but against ROTHERHAM?!" so my enthusiasm is sufficiently tempered.
Sheet soiled but still somewhat flaccid. Oohh...that wasn't...
That's about all I got.

Over the summer you were telling anyone not happy to stay away and preaching patience, what’s changed? The performances in the last three games haven’t been amazing but they’re an improvement on what came before it this season. We created chances, which we haven’t done with any consistency over the past couple of seasons. We didn’t totally collapse after conceding, which has been a feature of ours pretty much since relegation, even winning from behind for the first time in 14 months. There’s a long, long road ahead and we’re still not very good but I don’t see what’s been ‘atrocious’ compared to, say, the hammering at Watford, the shocker at West Brom or the debacle at Millwall. If you’re enjoying the current levels (quality) of performance (or in fact the last 14/15 games) fair do’s. If you believe that quality of performances has improved and will see us progress, fair do’s. I’m not enjoying watching the games and I don’t think the level of those performances will see us progress in this poor league. The first point relating to quality is subjective, my second point, let’s see at the end of the season. It just seems a bit of an about turn from you given how as recently as the summer you were telling us to be patient and suggesting that with all manner of waifs and strays signed on loans and frees we couldn’t possibly hope to produce any more than we were doing? Has something made your feelings on that change by any chance?

A good 6 from me. Had the players put away those chances, we would have walked that.

Playing Brown, one bloke who can score a goal, at RWB is a total nonsense. Manager overthinking stuff.
We were shite under MON and are equally as bad now. He's doing an appalling job waiting for a silver bullet in January.
Burnley will put at least three past us.

As many say, if we had finished a fraction of good chances, we would have won comfortably. I still think the midfield balance is wrong though, Baker is offering little offensively or in defence at present.

6.5
I agree with some of the selection comments, but on the other side, if our forwards can hit a barn door, we win comfortably.
Earlier in the season it felt if we conceded, it was game over. We’ve proven recently that we have some fight on us now and have come back to avoid defeat or win. Big improvement. Fitness and positivity seems to be much better as well now, we just need to turn it into wins.
The squad is a collection of very average players, built with no real plan or vision in mind. Until that is fixed with a proper transfer strategy, doesn’t matter who’s manager.

Now we have the perfect excuse to sack this manager if we crash badly against Burnley.

Seems pretty much like AN took a look a JB and really didn't rate what he saw. One of the better decisions of his tenure so far.
