Wilmot, Clarke, Sterling, Wright-Phillips, Laurent, Gayle all injured I presume? How? From twatting about on the slides in the swimming pool in their winter mid-season bonding exercise somewhere warm? Bending down to pick up a golf ball? I mean, seriously... AN said illness Edit: Gayle got injured day before Cardiff game They didn't go on holiday they were doing double and triple training sessions, which you can do in warm weather, much harder in the cold re warming down and back up again

do we have a fit Right Back or RWB? If not what system should we play? One where we dont have a fucking striker playing in defence. Wingbacks don't work for us anyway and the evidence for that is pretty clear. That's easy to say but come up with a constructive suggestion please. Look on the bench. Who could play there? Even Wilmot is missing. Brown has played there before and at least it keeps him away from miscontrolloing and missing chances in the area.

Totally agree, Gayle is out so we ought to have bursik up top. What a shit argument... That only makes sense if there aren't any other strikers You get the point though - we can't give AN a free pass because things aren't absolutely perfect. I'd prefer Wilmot in a four ,which is not ideal either, than to play out of position strikers (or Fosu) while we wait for actual RB's to recover. He *must* have at least considered that and thought 'nah Jacob in at RWB will raise the blood pressure of the shit munching supporters'

No RB options available as such Brown at RWB only option left? But he's not a RB/RWB! Fosu a far better choice (again not perfect or a RWB) It's weird and a waste of a striker. Fosu's not interested in defending or tackling.

Surely Fosu would have been a better option at wing back than Brown? Not a side that fills me with confidence at all. Exactly with Brown replacing the hapless Delap

I'd understand the complaints if everyone was fit but given the state of it atm I don't see the problem in picking him.

Not a fan of Brown at RWB but then I'm not seeing him on the training pitch every day. At least with brown he will run and give a 100% so let's at least give the players a chance before writing them off. Aside from Fosu it was either going to be a youth player or someone out of position so let's see how it goes. What’s happened to the ex Man City RB we had on the books? Corrigan? Wasn’t he let go?

Thougt last week was his worst performance, rightly dropped Not when you don’t have RB or RWB available, and they were all shite last week so do you drop them all Should certainly drop the worst one Would have dropped Baker and Smallbone too

1) Fosu 2) A youth player who is by trade at least a RB 3) Switch to back 4 and play one of the CB’s at right back. Brown isn’t technically brilliant, he can’t really do any of the things you need a RWB to do because he is so technically deficient. He can strike a ball at times and works hard but when it comes to running with the ball, crossing and defending he can’t do those things. a)Fosu is no different to Brown (both out of position) b)Are there any youth players close to being good enough? c)Which CB? Taylor, Jags, Fox or Souttar? Fosu isn’t ideal either but he’s better than Brown just because he can run with the ball at his feet. An academy player wouldn’t be ideal either but who knows. Surely having someone who is at least used to defending is better than someone who can’t defend. Taylor probably, again it’s not ideal but better than Brown at RWB. I’ve seen comments saying well at least Brown has played RWB before. He has indeed, and he was abysmal when he did.

Who else is he supposed to play at full back if both right backs are injured Exactly. It's why I try stay off here as much as I can. Full of absolute thick wazzacks at times who can't see past simple things and reasons Where abouts did I say anything about a right back you thick wazzack. Might be a good idea to stay off here a bit if you can’t read 🤦♂️

Fosu has got absolutely no discipline in his playing, so why would he be trusted in any kind of defensive role? He's played RWB maybe a dozen games in his whole career at the age of 27, he's an attacking player. He's always played on the Left anyway.

I suggest you watch the second Cardiff goal and tell me where was Fosu as left wing back?

I'm not sure I would describe Brown as a striker btw It's about trusting players to commit to a position. I am not a fan of Brown at all in any position, but I can see why he would be more reliable than Fosu.

Neither can Fosu but Brown will be more disciplined (hopefully) and at least be in position more often than not. There is no good option there thats fit, it doesn't matter who he picks, its fucked anyway.

Brown isn't really a striker though is he. He’s a striker or inside forward. He’s rubbish out wide. First touch is bad, cant run with the ball and isn’t great at crossing. On top of that he can’t defend. But hey he can run around so let’s play him at RWB.

Bristol have a forward at RWB as well apparently. No doubt he’ll have a blinder
