If we got relegated, we'd get a grovelling apology on the official website, a promise of an overhaul, more promises of free bus rides and then we'd proceed to appoint the League One version of Gary Rowett (Kenny Jackett?) and then watch in horror as he spends the largest budget in League One and defends our way to 12th in the league. Still, who needs other owners when you have prime, local 'gold' like that, that love the club?
It’s laughable isn’t it.

It’s laughable isn’t it. Whats laughable is people falling into the trap that you need rich, cuddly local owners 'that love the club' in order to prosper in modern football, and that 4 bottom half finishes in the Championship, ripping through 4 managers in 4 calendar years and spending well over 100M to achieve it all is both acceptable and/or nothing to do with anyone other than the managers.
Laughable? It's ludicrous.

I don’t think it would help but it’s probably inevitable the way things are. The crowd are fed up and rightly so, the players look uninterested. Something needs to change to get us back on an upwards trajectory but we’ve been saying that for years. There’ll be a point where we start our upward trend again but it doesn’t look likely for a while yet.

I think I was one of the people who said this in the prem.
‘Be nice to win a few games’
‘’The club will get a well needed reset’
‘We’ll see hungry players who want to play for the team’
How wrong was I.
It would be an unmitigated disaster to get relegated. An absolute disaster. We would be in League 1 for years.

Just a bunch of nothing misfits now, we had the mercenaries, now we are left with misfits. The pattern of play is grim and we just look like we will make a mistake at any minute. Maybe it's the only way to get some of them out...?

Not much to say other than maybe we would be better off getting relegating and rebuilding. I hate this league it's utter shit. Being top 6 division 1 handing out a few beatings woukd be much better than this. Maybe we could build some confidence and then finally do something. To be honest it's got to the point I can barely be arsed to go anymore. I literally don't like any of em apart from maybe Tymon the last of the Hughes players. Honestly I'd get Pulis in Why would going down help? Do you think things have become better after being relegated from the Prem?

Why the fuck do some people think you have to get relegated to rebuild? Why can’t we just rebuild in this division?
Fuck it, let’s go the whole hog and get relegated right through to the National League North, presumably then the club will be in brilliant nick.

4 reasons why this is a terrible proposal.
Derby, Sheffield W, Ipswich and Portsmouth. All Big Clubs with no guarantee of returning. Playing teams like Forest Green, Exeter, MK Don's, Bristol Rovers is just soul destroying and not something I want to pay for.
