If only our keeper would hold his hands up the odd time.

Watford did everything they had to do if they want to have a chance of achieving anything. Every time we had the ball they were in our faces forcing errors stopping us whether in our third, their third or middle third just everywhere! They stopped us from playing whatever we wanted to play (whatever that might have been) Even when they were 3 zip up!! That is what winners do! Even when they could have chilled out they didn’t!
Losers on the other hand let their heads drop when things don’t go their way and mentally leave the stadium well before any of the fans do!
Alex Neil suggested today that you find out a lot more about your men in defeat than in victory and that is the ONLY plus point of today.

Agreed there, today has a smilier vibe to when Pulis was thumped at Forest away back in 2003.
A lot for the manager to consider.
Hope he reverts to 4 at the back or it is evident the board are picking our formations.

If only our keeper would hold his hands up the odd time. Literally or figuratively?

I am pissed today but when I was there I felt we had most of the ball, thru had 4 attempts and scored all.four. not seen any stats but that's how it felt with a good few pints down me They hit the post twice and missed an absolute sitter towards the end. It could have been 6 on another day. Exactly how I saw it. They were miles better than us.

Sometimes you just come up against a better team and you have to hold your hands up. They were head and shoulders above us today and we were lucky it wasn't 6 or 7. We were shite but fair play every player for them won there 1 vs 1 today. This ⬆️ Enough space to play in I could have zig zagged across/up and down the pitch in a double decker bus. Shockingly poor

We sure did. The extent of our surrender was all too familiar.

They hadn't won and only scored three goals in five away games until yesterday.
The story of yesterday really isn't how good Watford are.

BM We need to get much better at dealing with teams that employ a hard press and that has been the case for a long time. The problem significantly predates Neil and yet he needs to come up with a solution to this.

I didn’t think they were anything special, they had a huge chunk of luck for their first two goals and then took advantage of a side that had thrown the towel in. Luck with the 2nd goal?
