6. performance was horrific after half time. Or QPR were a lot better. 7.5 for me.

The improvement in our organisation is remarkable.
However, the legacy of O’Neill remains with fitness and stamina still a concern.
The new manager is a breath of fresh air even with the lopsided squad he inherited.
8/10 today.

8 From me Another patched up starting 11 but well organsied and looking like a team at last. Gouranga. Just this, we're feeling like it's actually going somewhere, can see it in the lads' faces, I'd almost forgotten the feeling. 8 from me too

You’ll find that the fitness will look a lot better compared to MON’s team. He made us a lot more fit when he replaced LJ last season. you must be pleased with how Mowbray has started I went to the Reading v Sunderland game and to be honest Sunderland had nothing to beat. Reading were never at the races! Ince was berating all the players for lack of support, no pressure on the ball, etc. Have to say the 3rd goal which Jack Clarke scored was quite special!

A good 7 today, and given the amount of play they had in the 2nd half, it was a good away point for us. Well done.

Organisation, shape and fitness get you top half in this league. A bit of quality on top and you are a play off team.
The best part for me today was the first two the last two will come the longer he has with the group.

Probably an 8. Tactics were right on the day and we dug in well at a traditionally difficult ground for us and between flint, Campbell and the penalty shout we could even have knicked it. Made the right subs at the right time also. Two good away performances in a row. The trouble is our next three games are Watford, Burnley and Sheffield United. Massive tests coming up. Your last point…….Hopefully we’ll have 2/3 or 4 more players (although short on match fitness) available for selection.

He had 12 fit players plus two half-fit subs to work with, doesn’t seem to trust DWP or Sparrow and potentially 7 of his best XI unavailable. Given this, it was very impressive how we played first half with the rotation in midfield, both wing backs fully pushed on and willing to go one on one at the back. QPR struggled to cope until their switch at half-time which stopped us playing through midfield. I would have swapped Smallbine not Thompson but fair play for gambling on Laurent, it steadied the ship. Overall, showed himself to be both thoughtful and innovative given how little he had to work with

6. 6.5 for the first half. 5.5 for the second. He didn’t change much around to make us look close to winning that. We were very leaky and they were wasteful. Thought we were much better than 6.5 for first half and worse than 6 for second half. When I listened to his reasoning for giving them the ball on the flanks in order to cut the threat down in the centre the second half approach made sense. The midfield were poor second half though which made it a scary watch. Saying that, we finished strongly with Campbell and Flint coming very close. And a definite penalty not being awarded. Their defender knew what he'd done from his reaction.

A certain poster has made that point so incessantly it must be true.

...it was definatly a penalty , but look i have just said qpr were better than us , second half , so i suppose a draw is about right
no bs honest as it was

A strong 7 out of 10 from me.
We’d have lost that under MON, but AN is building a team spirit that we haven’t had for years. A battling backs to the wall performance in the second half but we kept our discipline and stayed patient. It was great to see us nearly nicking all 3 points late on.
