The only good thing about an international break is that I can record all the games shown live over the weekend, avoid reading any threads with the scores and then watch them at my leisure during the week.
I have finally finished this week's games, just in time to start the process again.
I must admit to being pleasantly surprised how good the Eagles looked. The NFC looks like it might be more competitive this year in a better way than the last couple of years where with 3 or 4 exceptions, it has been a race to be the "least worst" team to make the play-offs.
Now Jimmy G is back at QB for the 49ers, they will be more consistent, but when the chips are down in the play-offs I suspect the limitations in his game will be exposed again.
Hope this weekend is as exciting as last weekend.

OMFG Tua 6TDs and 2 INT. Phins win 42-38 Astonishing game and comeback. Hill and Waddle are the new Duper and Clayton. Could this be a decent season for the Phins? Hope so. Ps sorry for doubting you Tua. Your Dolphins must now be a serious contender this season. The defense was outstanding tonight. Can they handle the weight of expectation going forward? Amazing to see a Colts team that looked like they couldn't beat an egg upsetting the Chiefs.

AFC is wide open, Miami looked good but don't write off the Bills, they had their entire secondary missing tonight. Ravens can't be discounted, the Cheifs will bounce back, teams like the Chargers & Broncos still have plenty of time to click yet, too. The NFC, on the otherhand, I'd be amazed if it's anyone other than the Eagles as things stand.

injuries are such a big factor. Chargers unravelling early on with Bosa and Allen both out now. Jags look revitalised.

Dear Buffalo Bills Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Regards Miami Dolphins Best bit is the OC of the Bills at full time That is some tantrum! I think someone needs to spend some time on the naughty step. Tom Brady seems to have started something when he was slamming his tablet around last week. If each week someone ups the ante, what is going to be thrown around next week? Hope the tables and chairs are screwed to the floor.

Well a reality check for the Fins against the bengals.

Well a reality check for the Fins against the bengals. Hopefully just a blip seeing as Tua didnt play the full game. There is uproar over here about Tua. Clearly concussed during the Bills game. Allowed to play last night and then what happened was nothing less than horrific. I think the difference was the second half the Miami DEF ran out of steam. The fact they had to play so many snaps against the Bills at the weekend caught up with them. Burrow picked them apart with ease.

Watching his hands contort made me cringe. Hopefully he's ok, but cant see him back anytime soon. Sadly backup options for QB aren't good. We should have kept FitzMagic as backup.

(for now imo). Aren't they meant to be independent? The way he wobbled vs the bills wasn't back/ankle, and seeing his fucking crinkled hand hover over his face like he'd had a stroke was awful. it's probably the nfl protocol thats fucked him rather than individual doctors.

I'm in London for the weekend, a few guys and gals with Saints tops on and more about town, plus a few Vikings tops on show, are they playing at Tottenham this weekend?

I hope Tua turns out to be okay.
Thursday night's viewing was horrendous. You could see what was going to happen as soon as he was about to be tackled.
The problem still seems to be that the protocols seem to require some input from the player and even then, individual "neutral" doctors can be pressured into giving the "right" answer, especially as the player had a few minutes to "recover" before he was assessed in the dressing room, rather than immediately in the blue tent at the side of the pitch.
It was obvious watching The Bills game that that he had cracked his head hard on the turf from the way he held it when he first went down and the way his legs just went from under him as he tried to walk off. (It was the main topic of conversation for 2 or 3 days on the TV I watched).
The first concussion on its own is one thing, but the risk multiplies significantly for a 2nd concussion. Multiple concussions over a short period are a significant threat to both his short and long term health.
Hopefully this time Tua will be given sufficient time to recover fully and not allowed to rush back and risk his health.

They are indeed, Saints v Vikings this Sunday & then next Sunday it's the Giants v Packers. (Expect lots of Packers tops around next weekend as it's their first time playing here). Then on Sunday 30th it moves to Wembley for the Jaguars v Broncos.

Feel for Tua. Seems really likeable and at 24 I think his health needs to come first.
Got to be looking at a spell out to ensure a full recovery. Tough on Miami though as Teddy can breakdown at any moment.
Easy to say after-the-fact but there is no way Tua should have played last night, that thing with the hands was quite difficult viewing.

Have finally caught up on all last week's games. The recorder is set for what looks like a very long weekend (5 live matches on Sunday and 1 on Monday night). Should be enough to keep me out of mischief for next week, even if the weather is bad.

I’d put your mortgage on The Cowboys today.
Dont know what the over/under is but I would imagine it’s going to be a very, very long afternoon for our D.
We can’t run the ball, Wentz can’t find people on check downs when he is under pressure (which is most snaps)
The O line has more holes than Swiss cheese.
The new black uni is very smart though.

Usually I try go 2 london games a year but couldn’t get spurs tickets the system was a shambles. But really I think jags v broncos is probably the best london game. Vikings saints is a bit meh and packers giants is a bit boring too.

Three losses on the spin for the battered Phins.
Hopefully Tua is back next week cos the back up options are shite
Shame needham got injured as well as the defence was doing a good job at holding the vikings back.
Up the Phins

Up the Phins Miami have been really unlucky with Tua this year but he needs to be well looked after. Buffalo and KC is high quality.
