Laurent with Smallbone close second.
It's nice to have a few players to actually deserve the accolade for a change.

Laurent or Smallbone for me.
Regardless, we finally have a month where this award would be deserved!

A worthy winner with Laurent close.
Makes a change to have 2 or 3 genuine shouts for POM rather than someone winning it by default because they were less wank than the others.

I can't believe the turnaround this guy's had- he looked absolutely wank for months, now he's justifiably one of the first names on the teamsheet. It's because I slagged him off on here a while back- clearly that was the motivation he needed.

Needs to work on his finishing still by the looks of it but he's linking the midfield and attackers really well lately.

Massive improvement defensively too. It's like he got his eye in or something.
I'm sure he was constantly breezed past at first but not now.
Well done Willy Smallbone.

It's because I slagged him off on here a while back- clearly that was the motivation he needed. When he first arrived he looked like the "before" person in the old 1960's Charles Atlas Bodybuilding adverts (the 8 stone weakling who got sand kicked in his face by kids on the beach) and the bunny using "another make of battery" in the old Duracell Bunny adverts in that after about 60-65 minutes he just seemed to completely run out of energy. While he is never going to be a tough tackling midfielder, since the World Cup break he looks a bit stronger, he is better at holding players off, nicking the ball off opponents and he is much, much fitter and has become a "proper" Duracell bunny. He looks the perfect example of what you hope to achieve when you send a young player out on loan.

He's proved me wrong that's for sure and made me feel a little bit of a twat for not giving him more time than I did to see what he was about. He's easily one of our best players now and he's clearly worked hard to add things to his game he didn't have when he arrived here. I just hope he can add goals now as he gets into the right areas loads but doesn't finish enough. I'm sure that will come and hopefully we manage to sign him from Southampton and the goals come with us. Well done Smallpiece and keep proving people wrong your good at it.

Pearson for the difference he has made to the team.
In terms of individual performance I'd go Hoever. He's very raw but a special talent.
