There's losing games and there's losing to that Sunderland side Ha, ha, what a bitter man you for someone religious. Yes, we (Sunderland) had some key injuries but we are a better side than Stoke. Our 2 strikers will score all season whereas you seem to have nothing up front. A bit more humility wouldn't go amiss. Ha, ha - that's rich coming from a typical here today, relegated tomorrow team. Come back end of season and tell us where you are against us - in the table.

How about Martin O'Neill in for Mon? Save money on changing the carpark space and office sign and desk Toblerone?

Things will not change unless anger is directed at Coates. We have no board of directors, just his son who is completely out of his depth running a football club. Seems like that doesn't it? He really does look like a man who doesn't quite 'get it' unfortunately.

The only bit of slack (and thats being overly generous to MON) I will give MON is the Championship is a whacky league. That does not excuse him from terrible football with a group of players, you would think with a decent manager would have us competing anywhere in the top 6 spots. I am not one for abusing him too, even though so often he looks like a defeated clueless figure on the side line ( I know that's considering abuse to your average snow flake).

He is stuck playing a back 5 and until the players are back fully fit we are going to see games like this for the next 5 weeks. No plan b for when we have injuries unless we sign someone who can play both lwb and rwb when required.

None clapping and management needs changing but you’ve failed to answer as you were bound to do what the alternative to the family is , in the real world they need help but we are unbelievably Lucky to have them it’s the bad right now but nothing to what could happen in ownership change

Why does sticking it out represent happy clapping for some the team / club is more important than the manager , I don’t blame you at all but keeping going isn’t by definition happy clapping , I’ll be there v Swansea but wont be happy

Our 2 strikers will score all season whereas you seem to have nothing up front. A bit more humility wouldn't go amiss. We have one of the best strike forces in the league, it’s perhaps the only part of our team that isn’t filled with square pegs. Our issue is down to a very stubborn manager who refuses to accept defeat with his formation we have all known hasn’t been working for the past year, and his mismanagement that leaves him with few alternatives that he is too proud to take anyway. Sunderland were very poor in the first half and the goal was completely against the run of play but not unexpected from our point of view. You were by far the better team in the second half, but anything out of the bottom three would be a good season for you. You were a better side on the day for sure but it was as much thanks to baffling decisions from our manager than quality at your end.

We had injuries today and that first half performance showed that the squad needs strengthening. The goal was against the run of play but it was always a risk playing two slower centre backs against two mobile forwards. Stoke will be ok, in my opinion, as will we. Best of luck.

So long as Brown in the team, we will hardly score. Yes he was our top scorer last season that was obviously he play every game. But oh well, Stoke fans would rather have a player like Brown than an intelligent and natural finisher like Campbell. I'll get slated for this, just bring it. 🤦 there are no words.

Only Swansea have a worse goal difference. We would certainly be bottom three had Coventry played all their games, so after three years we are virtually in exactly same position 😭

Stay on your own fucking message board Look how far you've come! I can remember when Sunderland were little more than a League 1 club. For years. And years . . . Yep. We were, for four years. Never good but we got rid of our Premiership and Championship high paid journeyman and have come back stronger, with a young squad that, hopefully,we can develop and build on. Stoke aren't dissimilar to how we were before we went down, but I hope you can get sorted out without it coming to that. Best of luck.
