Christ, that was men against boys.
Cov looked a genuinely, genuinely good side.
We were a complete rabble.

Remember when people were saying they were looking forward to a season in the Championship?
What a bunch of absolute wankers.

Thought we were very poor today, and very lucky to come away with a point!

Trouble is to get out of the league you need to play “orrible” championship football... WE need a big mobile target man ... to hold the ball up, we just don’t shift the ball from back to front quickly enough in this league

I can’t stand Clucas and I think Bursik is crap but I wouldn’t stand behind the goal all game shouting at how crap I think he is. You don’t boo individual players. It’s pathetic.

Hopefully they do the same for Bursik and Campbell all next season as both have performed worse in their individual positions that Chester has in his. Sparrow looked crap as well, so he should be on the receiving end of it all next year too hopefully. Booing a team performance is one thing, but booing a player just as he comes on is a joke. If you think it’s right, you’re a joke too.

I actually thought the booing came from Cov fans anyway because of his Villa connection🤔Retarded scum if any of our fans booed him

Coventry guessed correctly we would try and defend narrow
So used the full width of the pitch to either pull out our defenders ( didn't happen) or force us to let them have a series of crosses in to our box ( did happen)
With a better final ball and movement in the box , they would easily have been deserved winners
Not their day , but you could see what they had been doing in training all week
I have no idea what we have been doing in training . At the back , at a guess , keep the defence tight and don't get strung out
Going forward I am clueless . We had about as much a plan and pattern of play as a bunch of young lads playing five a side after an afternoon in the pub .

Coventry today showed what type of players we are missing - Callum O'Hare for one. Players who can dribble and pass and have some bloody pace, a trait we have all been yearning to see for the last 4 years. With a good centre forward they would have embarrassed us even further.

Why did we set up like that today ? Last game , where are the kids? Playing Brown up front on his own at home was a disgrace. We are disjointed, lack any team spirit, play as a team of individuals. I have a feeling someone will be coming in this summer to try to sort out this mess. Surely Uncle Peter can’t be any happier than us. We were there for the taking today, Sparrow was offered no encouragement from senior pros. We turn up but sadly these overpaid charlatans don’t. I’d keep 3 or 4 of them , as for the rest, the sooner they fuck off the better. The whole club needs clearing out from top to bottom.

Yes I'm tired of us looking like we don't practice sh*t in training and seemingly have no plan once a match starts. And that whole idea that we play like sh*t at home because of fan pressure...What? If you want to play a professional sport, either buck up or f*ck up.
It's for these reasons that if they decided to move O'Neill on, I wouldn't argue. (But they won't) So the man has said he's been in pain, which is understandable and would be very distracting, no matter how "tough" you are. Hopefully this operation rejuvenates him and removes the pain/distraction. Only saying that because people don't have their hips cut on as an elective - something had to be hurting pretty bad.
Well, here we are at the end of a season. Let us leave the missed passes, worthless throw-ins, paranoid tactics and other garbage in this past year where it belongs.

Well for once I wasn't freezing my **** off, so that was a nice change.
I feel for our elderly fans getting towards the end of the time they can actually manage to get to the ground to watch games if this season turns out to be their last. Not a season to spend hours reminiscing about with the grand kids.
Oh well. A couple of months watching cricket and golf and I will be ready for the start of the new season having completely forgotten all about this last season. (One of the perks of getting old!)
