Im just smearing some broken glass with dog shit. Undecided whether to watch Stoke or walk across it this afternoon. Entertainment level likely to be the same That made me chuckle 👍 I'll be glad when this season ends/MON is sent upstairs/sacked/replaced

Who knows and we'll probably find out later.
If Forrester has been dropped then we should back the manager. He's been excellent with the youngsters since he came in and has developed and managed a lot more than most through the older age ranges and into the first team.
This manager dies Harsh

Where’s Forrester? Awful management. Why? The lads been ok. Nothing more or less. Well if he's not injured,he is a better option on the bench than Chester I would have thought.Over the two games he has done very well, was part of a back three that kept Andy Carroll pretty quiet in the first game and did Ok in the second, can't see that dropping him is going to help his confidence tbh.He stuck with Bellis who has made a lot more mistakes, and a couple being very costly indeed.Whats the difference?

Haha, not wrong there really. I'm wondering if it's in relation to Will being dropped, Clucas shares the same agent as Forrester does. Just my first guess on the tweet.

The next guy can play the youngsters instead.

Baffled sorry why should we back the manager here because he plays a few of the youngsters??, what’s he supposed to do keep selecting the older under performing players?? This manager does not need backing he needs sacking end of No i'm not saying that at all.

If Forrester isn't injured, I would absolutely love to know why he's been dropped Incomprehensible He's dropped because we conceded a daft goal in the last game...even though he wasn't even on the pitch at the time!!!

After O'Neill's rant after Saturday's game, I expected significant changes. Instead he reverts to type, throws Forrester under the bus which will destroy his confidence (assuming no injury). Smith should have been the first name out of the starting eleven, closely followed by Tymon and Bursik should absolutely be in to replace Bonham. An opportunity to give Sparrow a run out or experience and O'Neill puts frigging Chester on the bench. Whether we win, lose or draw today, I want O'Neill gone.

What makes me think MON hasn't got a clue what he is doing in team selection? We back where we were with Jones, but just a younger squad. I wonder how confused the players are? I'm writing this in the desperate hope I am proven wrong. I agree. To me, MON is still not clear as to what is his best team. He can't blame all this chopping and changing on injuries.

His comments about being brave when bringing it out from the back seem to be aimed at Forrester And can't pass wind Wilmot is really going to improve the situation. If Forrester is going to be made the scapegoat for Friday then it's not just O'neils hip that wants replacing.

Joking aside, O'Neill tends to believe that younger player must be protected from playing too much, so he might well consider two games in four days as one too many. It's a stupid reasoning. He's probably got more energy than the rest of the team put together.

Bit surprised Forrester didn't make the squad. Must be an injury. Chester still getting paid appearance money I see. There’s nothing up with him. Who, Forrester how do you know?

The best thing to happen is that we lose our remaining games, then someone might make a positive decision about O'Neills future, enough is enough !!

Well Smith is our top assist player as wingback so thats good. Hard to fathom that Wilmot is now good enough in a back 3 all of a sudden since he last played at right back in a 4. Having said that Wilmot was outstanding against Diaz in the home game and kept him very quiet so maybe thats the reason hes in. This was when Diaz was on fire.

Duck mag posted a screenshot on Twitter, was this mate
Probably just summising his performance this season. Excellent self awareness from the Clucas there... Exactly. Clucas didn’t play for Blackburn, so maybe the manager expected him to be useless in the game. Clucas markedly overperformed with regards to scoring in one season for us. However, his all-round game that season was crap, and when he didn’t score, many were wondering what he was doing on the pitch. Now he’s back to his norm of not scoring and still being useless.

If we want to attract the best possible staff and players, we need to show a positive and professional approach to our remaining games We might also sell a few more season tickets

I never want Stoke to lose, but sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. The board are so detached and blinkered they only react when it’s beyond recovery; a bit like O’Neil and his subs and tactics funnily enough.

Way over board, he’s had three wank seasons and soon to be a forth if Coates let’s him stay on. Any other club would have sacked him ages ago!!!!!!

It feels like what ever the team without a fit Powell, DWP or Bidace were pretty predictable. We need a bit of flair. It’ll be the same slow paced build up which is a shame as I like the Allen / Baker pairing. It’s the rest of the team that’s the problem. So inconsistent and rudderless, dwp has been utter shite the last few chances he’s had. Living off a good performance at Hull and goal v Fulham. Done nothing other than that. Bidace had 2 good games, was found out, then injured. At least they have some talent. They need a run of games.
