They were indeed. No clue who the presenter was, someone called Mark. Never heard him before today He actually sounded OK as Radio Stoke Sports Presenters go, probably best we've had since John Acres was covering us. Never heard of him before but ce across like he'd been covering Stoke for a while. Certainly knew his stuff regarding the local football scene and sounded fair & diplomatic on P&G. Heard a couple of people call him Matt on P&G aswell! But to be fair he did sound familiar to Matt Sandoz, but obviously wasn't him! I agree on how good he sounded on my way home from the game mate,he’s Mark Elliott from BBC Radio Shropshire from the bit of detective work I’ve done🤣

A higher quality output when overseen by a professional broadcaster as opposed to the motley band of amateurs Radio Joke usually persists with? Who'd have thunk it.

Most presenters on radio Stoke are stuck in the twilight zone spouting the same droning dross year after year. The entire station needs a complete and utter revamp with modern 21st century presenters. Im the wrong end of 50 and even I find the topics they talk about old ,dated and repetitive.

Pity it only sounds a loan deal, fitted straight in like a pro didn't he?

I thought he did from what I heard mate but his only mistake was to let that cretin have his rant after a victory🙄 I notice Blakeman is doing a lot of work now for 5live

"Gabriel Zakuani, formally of Peterborough, Fulham and Leyton Orient. And Orient's record transfer out, for 1.5 million when he was sold to the Cottagers"
"Stoke making a substitution Nigel"
"Thanks Gabby"
